Countess Parts With Keyboard Player Herjann

Countess just issued the following announcement online about parting ways with the band’s keyboardist:

“We have to announce that our keyboard player Herjann and the band have decided to part ways.
Because of his many activities and his geographical distance to the rest of the band, it was no longer possible for him to rehearse with us as often as we collectively deemed necessary.

“Herjann joined Countess early in 2014 and played a significant role in the band’s return to the stage that year. His contribution to the band and the good times we had together will not be forgotten. We wish him all the best in the future with his many endeavours.”

Stargazery Parts With Bass Player Jukka Jokikokko

Jukka Jokikokko from Finnish band Stargazery has issued the following announcement to fans about parting ways with the group:

“The forthcoming show at Jalometalli shall be my last in Stargazery’s lineup. Ten great years with awesome people and two albums.

“The situation is simply that I feel that I’m not able to give my all for Stargazery, since my passion of making music has focused elsewhere. It’s not fair towards the other members, so it’s my personal decision to step aside.

“My metal brotherhood with these guys will still go on and every one of them shall remain the dearest of friends for me. From now on, I will concentrate on making music with my long term passion, Zenith Reunion. I wish all the best for Stargazery and all the fans! See you one more time at Jalometalli!”

Stargazery released the “Stars Aligned” album earlier this year, and a track off that release is available below.
