New Lyric Video “Marching Over Blood” Released By Suicidal Angels

Greek thrashers Suicidal Angels released a lyric video for the new track “Marching Over Blood.” The song is taken from the upcoming new album “Divide & Conquer,” which drops on January 10th (EU) and January 14th (North America) via NoiseArt Records.

The album marks the first studio release for new guitarist Chris Tsitsis, who replaced the outgoing Panos Spanos, who left in 2012, as well as new bassist Aggelos Lelikakis.

New Guitatist Kent Quinlan Announced By Mortillery

Canadian thrashers Mortillery announced that the addition of new guitarist Kent Quinlan, who has replaced the outgoing Alex Scott. The band issued the sophomore LP “Origin of Extinction” back in February via Napalm Records.

Mortillery is set to embark on a North American tour in support of Sepultura. The lineup with dates and venues can be found over at this location.

The announcement reads:

Preview Clip Of New Song “Redemption” Streaming From Queensryche

Queensryche is streaming a preview snippet of the new track “Redemption.” The song will appear on the band’s yet untitled new album, which is targeted for release in 2013. The album is the first to feature new vocalist Todd LaTorre, who replaced the outgoing Geoff Tate in a highly publicized split last summer.

Earlier this month, LaTorre resigned from Florida power/progressive act Crimson Glory stating: “Crimson Glory was the catalyst that exposed me to the world as an undiscovered vocalist, and I am very thankful to them. Special thanks also to the amazing fans for their acceptance and support of not only Crimson Glory, but their continued support to me as an artist. Lastly, I sincerely wish my friends in Crimson Glory the absolute very best, both personally and professionally.”

Demo Version Of New Tracks "Torn" & "Carry The Cross" Streaming From Adagio

French symphonic progressive metal act Adagio posted a demo version of the new songs “Torn” and “Carry the Cross,” the first two singles to be released on the band’s upcoming fifth album and first since 2009’s “Archangels In Black.” The band has promised the fans “Underworld 2,” referencing the highly acclaimed 2003 sophomore effort regarded by many as the band’s best album. “Torn” is the first to feature new vocalist Kelly Carpenter (Darkology/Epysode/Ex-Outword/Ex-Beyond Twilight) who replaced the outgoing Mats Levén, who was with the band for about a year but did not record.

The statement from the band along with the demo stream is as follows: “Hi guys, here is a demo version of one of the two singles that will be featured on Adagio’s upcoming album, planned to be released in 2013.

“To the die hard prog Metal fans: Remember those two songs are ‘singles’….for the rest of the album, we promised Underworld 2..don’t worry, you gonna have it above your expectations 😉 cheers.

Trailer For New LP "Pinnacle Of Bedlam" Posted By Suffocation

New York death metal act Suffocation posted a video featuring sample clips of the upcoming “Pinnacle of Bedlam” release. The album is set for release on February 15, 2013 via Nuclear Blast Records and is the first to feature new drummer Dave Culross, who was with the band from 1997-1998 and recorded drums for the “Despise the Sun” EP. He replaces the outgoing Mike Smith, who left the band this past February.

Update On Vocalist’s Health And Announcement Of New Keyboardist Issued By Dragony

Austrian power metal act Dragony issued an update on the condition of vocalist Siegfried “The Dragonslayer” Samer, who underwent vocal surgery last month. In addition, the band announced the addition of new keyboardist Manuel Hartleb, who replaces the outgoing Georg Lorenz. The band is in the process of planning live show dates for 2013.

The update on the band’s Facebook Page reads as follows:

“Well guys, I guess it’s time for a little news update from the DRAGONY camp, and it’s exclusively good news today!

“First off, we are happy to announce that our lead singer’s vocal chord surgery in early November went really well, the recovery process is running smoothly, and we will be back to regular rehearsals in early 2013!

“Meanwhile, the dragons have not been lazy, and we’ve used to time to hunt high and low for a new keyboard player… and well, we are happy to announce that we have found one in Manuel Hartleb! Thus, please welcome Manuel as the newest member of DRAGONY, and we are sure that with his classical piano background, he will be a great asset to the Unicorn Union!

“Give him a warm welcome, and look out for the first live date announcements for DRAGONY for 2013 real soon! 😉 Unicorns Unite!!!”

New Music Video For "Days Of The New" From Almah To Be Posted Friday

Brazilian metal act Almah announced that it will release its new music video for the song “Days of the New” on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 3:00pm EST/15-00 CET. The song is the fourth video for the band’s latest LP “Motion” and it will come via the band’s official YouTube Channel.

The clip was recorded by Valter Reis and Gildasio Chagas from DV Produções, edited and produced by Alex Milesi, who was responsible for the previous two videos “Trace Of Trait” and “Late Night in ’85″.

“Motion” was released in October 2011 via AFM Records (Europe, North America) and through Victor JVC in Japan. This CD defined the proper style of the band with heavier elements and aggressive parts. In May 2012, Edu Falaschi announced his departure from Angra to concentrate on Almah. In addition, Almah previously welcomed guitarist Gustavo Di Pádua into the band for the outgoing Paulo Schroeber. At the moment, the band is composing new stuff for the next studio effort.
