Xael Debut New Song & Video “Apathy of the Immortal” From Upcoming Debut Album “The Last Arbiter”

North Carolina’s Xael debut a new song and video titled “Apathy of the Immortal”, taken from their upcoming debut album “The Last Arbiter”, which will be released next year by Test Your Metal Records.

Check out now “Apathy of the Immortal” below.

Explains the band:

“‘Apathy of the Immortal’ takes place a bit into the story. The immortal wayfarer, after venturing to this hostile planet, finds himself burdened by his past and the degrading endeavors of sentient life. Accompanied by the “Watchers of Xan”, a resistance group on Tymeer, he finds that his body regenerates time after time but his mental capacity for coping with this lengthened life span is diminishing, causing him to have disassociation and hallucinations.

“One such hallucination is seeing a demonic apparition of ‘Time’ and its acolyte ‘Decay’. For time cannot touch the wayfarer, it taunts him with its ability to take away the world around him. This song is a reflection of the fear of what the future holds and our control over such events.”

Demon Eye Streaming New Song “Dying For It”

“Prophecies And Lies,” the forthcoming full-length album from North Carolina occult metal collective Demon Eye, will see release via Soulseller Records on August 11th in Europe followed by a North American release date of September 8th.

Captured by Corrosion Of Conformity’s Mike Dean in the band’s hometown of Raleigh, the eleven-track burner finds Demon Eye’s fiery fusion of heavy classic rock, proto metal, and traditional doom at its most intense.

Today, the band’s latest single “Dying For It” comes online and can be heard below. Issues the band of the track, “‘Dying For It’ is a hard-charger with a bit of Voivod dissonance meets classic Dio. Lyrically, it represents the loud voices we hear in the world, those who make bold claims, but who ultimately would never put their lives on the line for anyone else.”

Demon Eye will a play a record release show in August alongside Captain Beyond, with additional live performances to be announced in the weeks to come.
