Slayer To Reportedly Tour With Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Behemoth And Testament

Rumours are spreading across the internet that a huge tour of North America will take place this Summer, which will see Slayer and Lamb Of God co-headline a trek which will also feature fellow thrash metal legends Anthrax and Testament, as well as Polish blackened death metal favourites, Behemoth. Testament guitarist Alex Skolnick and Lamb Of God vocalist Randy Blythe have both spoken of signing on for an exciting tour of North America and this, one would assume is it. More details including tour dates etc. will be revealed once this is confirmed.

Ministry Frontman Al Jourgensen Explains “Antifa” Track

Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen has posted a video online describing the band’s controversial new single, “Antifa.” You can check it out below. Seattle favourites Alice In Chains has announced that they will be embarking on a headline tour of North America beginning next April. There has been no word yet as to whether or not more dates will be announced or indeed if this will be in support of a new album which the group have been working on over the past year.

Sadus Working On First New Material In Over A Decade

San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans Sadus are working on their first new material in over a decade.

Tells mainman Darren Travis: “I have been working on new material for quite sometime with drummer Jon Allen in his personal studio in Texas. I am going to record again in Trident Studios in the next few weeks for two/three new tracks. Guitars and voice. Teasers will be posted on Facebook via YouTube links. Then full songs soon.”

Sadus’ last album “Out for Blood”, was released in North America in 2006 via The End Records and through Holland’s Mascot Records in Europe.

Mayhem Kicking Off North American Tour With Immolation & Black Anvil

Norwegian black metal legends Mayhem will descend upon North America for a month-long live takeover from November 3rd to December 2nd. Support will be provided by Immolation and Black Anvil, the latter of which appeared with the band on their last stateside expedition.

The tour follows the band’s recent Purgatorium Europæ – Pars Duorum trek. Additionally, Mayhem will take part in the latest edition of the Decibel Metal And Beer Fest set to take place on March 31st-April 1st, 2018 at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mayhem will perform on April 1st alongside Carcass, Repulsion, Dream Death, and more.

Decibel Metal & Beer Fest Adds Mayhem To Lineup

Norwegian black metal legends Mayhem will take part in the latest edition of the Decibel Metal And Beer Fest, which is set to take place on March 31-April 1, 2018 at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

For nearly a decade, Decibel has fostered the brotherhood between the craft beer and metal worlds with its monthly “Brewtal Truth” column written by award-winning beer writer Adem Tepedelen. With their Metal And Beer Fest, the two worlds unite in one magnificent weekend of extreme sound and suds in Philadelphia. Mayhem will perform on April 1st alongside Carcass, Repulsion, Dream Death, and more.

The band is currently in the midst of the second leg of the European live takeover. The “Purgatorium Europæ – Pars Duorum” Tour commenced Friday, September 29th in Berlin, Germany and will draw to a close on October 27th in Gothenburg, Sweden leaving more than two dozen cities leveled its wake. Following their European run, Mayhem will descend upon North America for a month-long journey from November 3rd to December 2nd. Support will be provided by Immolation and Black Anvil, the latter of which appeared with the band on their last stateside expedition.

Mayhem has been commemorating the release of the 1994 landmark “De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas” full-length with a worldwide live takeover performing the monumental record in its entirety. Stateside fans who missed the spectacle the first time around get one last chance this November on the “Purgatorium Americæ Septentrionalis – Pars Duorum” tour. See all confirmed dates below.
