Debut Album “Blood, Guts And Games” Sees Eisley/Goldy Back Together

Frontiers Music Srl is proud to announce a new project, Eisley/Goldy, which will release the debut album “Blood, Guts and Games” on December 1, 2017. The first track from the upcoming release, “The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter” is out today! The official music video can be viewed in the player below. Pre-order the release now at this location.

Singer David Glen Eisley and guitarist Craig Goldy (Resurrection Kings, ex-Dio), both formerly of Giuffria, have joined forces again in Eisley/Goldy, a partnership which sees the two artists bring back the signature sound that launched their respective careers in the early ‘80s.

As David Glen Eisley stated around October 2014, after several years on hiatus after his 2001 solo effort, “My dear friend of many years, guitar virtuoso Craig Goldy made a surprise visit up to my house, knocked on the door and simply stated ‘Enough of this my friend…time for you to get up off your ass and come back to work!’ He was so adamant, I relented and agreed to join him on a small stage in the San Diego area. It all seemed to go well and the next thing I knew a year later, we were in Nottingham, England playing together again in front of a crowd. We had been discussing writing some material for a potential album during this past year. But where to take it, assuming we were to actually do one? That left a big question, but a simple answer. The BEST Rock & Roll label left on the planet that understood who we were and who we are today. That was Frontiers and our friends Serafino & Mario!! A deal was struck and we both are happy to say “Eisley/Goldy” will be bringing you a new record in 2017. Funny how things happen in this crazy world of Rock & Roll!”

Of the first single to be released from the album, Goldy says “the song, ‘The Heart is a Lonely Hunter’ is a song that I know is very close to Dave’s own heart…..because of a very special loved one, who is still in search mode for that “one and only”, yet still gets kicked around during that quest! For me….this song can indeed be about anyone who is searching for a special someone….or it can also be about the internal search we all feel at times while trying to uncover what special purpose or calling in life we are on this planet for….and that search, though originally generated from the heart, can often become as treacherous as a hunter in the wild!!!”

Eisley/Goldy are joined on the release by drummer Ron Wikso, whose resume includes The Storm, Foreigner, Cher, David Lee Roth, and more. Original Giuffria bassist Chuck Wright also plays on a few tracks on the album and original Giuffria drummer Alan Krigger is featured in “The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter” music video!

The track listing for “Blood, Guts and Games” is:

1. The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter
2. I Don’t Belong Here Anymore
3. Lies I Can Live With
4. No More Prayers In The Night
5. Love Of The Game
6. Wings Of A Hurricane
7. Life, “If Only A Memory”
8. Soul Of Madness
9. Track Thirteen
10. Believe In One Another

Details Of New Album “Beyond The Rain” Issued BY WildeStarr

WildeStarr – featuring the combined talents of 3 of the most dynamic musicians in heavy metal today: Dave Starr (Vicious Rumors, Chastain) on all guitars & bass, London Wilde on vocals (who many regard as highly as Rob Halford, Dio, and Geoff Tate), and power house Josh Foster on drums – are geared up to release the new album “Beyond the Rain” via Scarlet Records on December 8th.

Through three studio albums (“Arrival,” in 2010; “A Tell Tale Heart,” in 2012; and now with “Beyond The Rain,” in 2017), WildeStarr has established itself as the master of its craft with melodic and aggressive metal full of drama, and conveyed via a huge wall of sound. Husband and wife team Dave Starr and London Wilde have been friends for 30 years, and married for over 15 now. This makes the songwriting and chemistry very special and unique in the world of heavy metal.

“Beyond The Rain” takes the listener on a harrowing ride and emotional roller coaster. Some might think its a concept album, but its actually much more than that. The songs are London Wilde’s lyrical expression of pain, torment, hope, and love based on the real life tragic suicide of her brother Gary in 2012. Gary was a gifted musician who suffered the sad pitfalls of many others who pickup the guitar and dream of success in the music biz. After his death, Gary essentially became a not so silent fourth member of the band, and his presence and spirit was deeply felt throughout the songwriting and recording process.

The track listing is:

1. Metamorphose
2. Beyond The Rain
3. Pressing The Wires
4. Double Red
5. Down Cold
6. Rage And Water
7. Crimson Fifths
8. Undersold
9. From Shadow
10. When The Night Falls

Apostasy Records Signs Night In Gales

Apostasy Records announced that the label has signed German melodic death metal act Night In Gales. Fans of the early material can expect a proper rejuvenation of the band.

Night In Gales looks back at turbulent times: The first sign of life, 1995’s EP “Sylphlike,” was already one of the most successful metal-demos of all time. Therefore, label-powerhouse Nuclear Blast came into the picture, with whom the quintet signed a deal for a couple of albums. They also toured alongside In Flames, Hypocrisy, Children Of Bodom, Death, Dismember and many others and they played numerous festivals like Rockharz, the Wacken Open Air or the Summer Breeze. After some calmer years, the band returned with 2011’s brilliant album “Five Scars.” Only one year later, long term vocalist Bjoern Gooßes left the band to concentrate completely on his band The Very End.

Last year, the band announced the addition of original vocalist Christian Mueller who also sang on their initial EP “Sylphlike.” He finalized the new album, which marks a distinct step back to the band’s roots. Thus, the songs offer furious melodic twin guitar riffing, driven by technical death metal drumming, topped by a manic frustrated voice that sounds like someone is crucified upside down.

The band comments: “We are happy to confirm that Night In Gales has inked a new worldwide record deal with Germany’s finest in melodic death metal: Apostasy Records! It feels good to be back and we are 100% sure to have the full support of Tomasz and his Team, as these guys are true underground-proofed death metal maniacs, who run the label with the necessary passion and idealism. We are proud to be a part of the Apostasy roster among brothers in crime like Ablaze My Sorrow, This Ending, Nailed To Obscurity, Burial Vault, Fragments Of Unbecoming, Damnation Defaced, Sign Of Cain, a.m.o. The new album is ready to release and there will be some exiting news containing more details like album track list, cover artwork, editions a.s.o. really soon, so stay tuned for this! Cheers, NIG anno 2017”
