Inquisition Geraing Up For U.S. Tour Dates

Inquisition just announced a new headlining U.S. tour. The “Bloodshed For Zenith” 2017 tour begins on September 1st in Los Angeles, and sees the band supported by Uada and Volahn.

Solstafir Announces Summer European Tour Dates

Acclaimed Icelandic rock band Solstafir just announced a new headlining European tour, beginning on June 10th in Paris, which will be the band’s first trek in support of upcoming record “Berdreyminn.” A full list of confirmed tour dates can be found below.

Regarding the tour, Solstafir comments: “We are stoked to be back on the road and doing up ‘n close personal club shows between summer festivals. Some of the small venues are expected to sell out fast – so better get your ticket right away.”

“Berdreyminn” (which translates to a “dreamer of forthcoming events”) will be released worldwide on May 26th. The new full-length was produced by Birgir Birgirsson and Jaime Gomez-Arellano and features the following track listing:

Pinkish Black Headed Out On U.S. Tour Dates

Texan gothic/experimental post-punk duo Pinkish Black has announced a new headlining tour this August. The dates will see the band performing throughout the West Coast and U.S. Southwest for two weeks kicking off August 20th.

Obscura Posts New Music Video “Ten Sepiroth”

A new music video from German tech-death force Obscura just premiered online and can be seen below. “Ten Sepiroth” is taken from the band’s recent full-length “Akroasis” (reviewed here).

A Life Divided Announces New Album “Human”

Bavarian electro-rockers A Life Divided will release their new album “Human” this coming April 10th (EU) / April 28th (USA).

From April 6th onward, the band will support German superstars Unheilig as main support in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A new headlining tour is also being lined up for October.

Furyon Announces New Shows, Finishes Album

U.K. act Furyon is now confirmed for the Secrets Of MetalfFestival, which will take place in Vorselaar, Belgium on May 23rd, 2015. The new festival video trailer can be viewed below. Other bands on the bill include Electro_nomicon, Stamina, and Pathfinder.

Furyon just recorded a second album, produced by Rick Beato (Shinedown, Fozzy), which is projected for release in early 2015. The band issued the following press release:

“What’s to be expected is more of the same explosive guitar riffs and solos in well crafted song form. Expressive vocal delivery and melodies to scream along to. A possibly darker album still with progressive elements and a grungy edge. The album aims to be a 10 song album with additions (acoustic tracks and videos). Furyon is extremely excited and looking forward to sharing the outcome of this venture with the world.”

Ne Obliviscaris Announces Southeast Asian Tour Dates

Australian metal act Ne Obliviscaris, which we nominated as one of the best newcomers of 2012, has announced a new headlining South East Asia tour.

The trek starts on August 20th in Nagoya, Japan and will travel for two weeks before ending in Bangkok, Thailand on September 9th. A full list of tour dates can be found below. The band is currently touring in support of “Portal of I” (reviewed here). The band is currently in the middle of writing a Season of Mist debut with plans to record in late 2013.

In other news, Ne Oblivscaris recently saw the song “And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope” included in a teaching curriculum at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The song will undergo a compositional analysis by Professor Matthew Hindson, Chair of Composition at the conservatorium.
