With their new album, Wherever They May Rot, Cut Up has reached a whole new level of brutality. Everyone has performed at the top of their game and the new songs are without a doubt the strongest we’ve ever created, reaching new heights in both speed and heaviness. Doyle Signs With EMP To Release New Album, Announces European Tour Dates

Former Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein has signed a label and distribution deal with EMP Label Group, who will not only release “As We Die” – the upcoming sophomore LP from Doyble – but also distribute all releases for the guitarist’s label Monsterman Records.

EMP President David Ellefson comments: “I’ve always loved Doyle and we’ve had a great relationship that goes back a long time. We’d started some talk last year when Doyle and Alissa (White-Gluz) came out to do some stuff with Metal Allegiance, and it just became an ongoing conversation over the past year. Now that it’s official, we’re extremely excited to be able to not only push out this new DOYLE record, which is amazing, but all the killer Monsterman titles via EMP.”

Says Doyle, “When Dave came to me with an offer for our new CD ‘As We Die’ it was a no brainer. He has been a good friend of mine for 20 + years, and has never done me wrong, and in this business that’s unheard of. We didn’t want to release it ourselves on Monster Man, we wanted a bigger push and EMP has a lot of exciting things happening in 2017 that will do that for us.”

Doyle – the current project of Von Frankenstein with Cancerslug vocalist Alex “Wolfman” Story, and a current lineup rounded out by bassist Brandon Strate and drummer Brandon Pertzborn – continues the lineage of Doyle’s former projects, pairing crushing metal riffs with ferocious punk rock swagger and the theatrical intensity one would expect from one of the reigning kings, and erstwhile creators, of horrorcore.

Vimic Announces Lineup Change, European Tour Dates

Heavy metal fans around Europe now have something to look forward to as Vimic prepares for the band’s first-ever world tour. Founded by Joey Jordison (formerly of Slipknot), Vimic combines heavy guitar riffs with unearthly drums patterns that Jordison is known for.

When it came time to form the band, Jordison assembled a team of five extremely devoted, driven, and dedicated musicians: Kalen Chase [vocals], Jed Simon [guitar], Kyle Konkiel [bass], Matt Tarach [keyboards]. Vimic is also excited to welcome new guitarist Steve Marshall to the band.

Vimic’s full-length debut “Open Your Omen: – arriving early 2017 – signals the biggest triumph of Jordison’s illustrious career as it came to life in the face of his most trying time. Jordison was diagnosed with the often permanent neurological affliction Acute Transverse Myelitis. He spent three months in the hospital during 2012 and underwent intensive physical rehabilitation and training. Not only did he achieve a full recovery, but he reached a new level of proficiency behind the drums.

“The riffs, lyrics, and drums of ‘Open Your Omen’ will tell you a lot,” Jordison admits. “I did this record when I was coming out of the Acute Transverse Myelitis condition. It’s literally what saved me and helped me get back to where I’m healthier than ever. These guys and this album pushed me to not only relearn how to walk, but how to play the drums again. ‘Open Your Omen’ is the rebirth of the rest of my life.”
