Skindred Reveals New Album, “Big Tings” Details, Posts Single Teaser

Welsh ragga metal favourites Skindred has announced that they will be releasing a new studio album, entitled “Big Tings” through Napalm Records on April 27th. Speaking about the title, guitarist Mikey Demus said:

“The name hopefully says it all, you can expect some seriously Big Tings from Skindred on our next record. We’ve thrown away the rulebook and pushed ourselves harder than ever to create the biggest, baddest, and most banging songs we could muster. We can’t wait to start unleashing this new stuff on the world, so prepare yourselves for some Big Tings!”

Skindred has also posted a teaser video online for their forthcoming single, “Machine,” which features guest appearances from former Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell (now leading Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons) and Reef vocalist Gary Stringer. In addition to this, the band will be embarking on a headlining tour of the UK with special guests CKY this April, which will feature the following tour dates:

Kamelot Reveals New Album Title, Announces European Tour Dates

Florida based power metal band Kamelot has announced that they will release a new album this Spring through Napalm Records entitled, “The Shadow Theory.” Not much else is known about the album at this time, though it is said to contain industrial elements amongst other things.

The band has also announced the first in a series of shows in Europe set for December, with the following dates confirmed:

September 14 – Tilburg, Nethelands – 013
September 22 – Oslo, Norway – Rockefeller

The Brew Inks Deal With Napalm Records

U.K. act The Brew signed on with Napalm Records for an upcoming new release.

Hailing from the North Eastern fishing town of Grimsby, UK, The Brew has gained a reputation as being one of the most exciting live rock acts in Europe today. To date the band has released five chart topping albums to its credit, in the unchanged, original lineup, featuring, Tim Smith on bass, Kurtis Smith on drums and Jason Barwick on guitar and vocals.

The breakthrough for the band came in 2009 with an appearance on the world famous RockPalast TV show, and following the successful album releases of “A Million Dead Stars” and “The Third Floor,” the band returned to the RockPalast show in 2012.

The Brew has toured with the likes of ZZ Top, Lynryd Skynyrd, and shared the stage with Ozzy Osbourne, Jeff Beck, to name but a few. The current critically acclaimed album releases of “Control” (2014) and “Shake the Tree” (2016) have seen the band cement a status as one of the leading rock acts in Europe today.
