The group’s upcoming new record will land in stores on June 28th and it will feature the final studio recordings of the HELLYEAH‘s late drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott, who passed away past June.

Nightwish To Film Sao Paolo And Buenos Aires Shows For DVD Release

Finnish symphonic metal favourites Nightwish has announced that they will be filming two shows in South America this month for a future DVD release. The performances in São Paulo, Brazil and Aires, Argentina on September 28th and 30th respectively. Speaking about the decision to film these sets, keyboardist / founder Tuomas Holopainen comments:

“The majority of these songs that we are doing on this tour are never gonna be played again, I think, so it’s a good idea to immortalize them.”

Chicago’s favorite avant metal alchemists SCIENTIST released the brain-contorting wares of their complex yet compelling Barbelith full-length earlier this month.
