Devil Master Debut New Music Video “Obscene Charade”

Relapse Records announce their signing of Philadelphia’s Devil Master. A new video for the band’s track “Obscene Charade” is streaming below.

The death rock/black metal/punk hybrid band commented of their new label home:

“Relapse Records‘ store in Philly was crucial to all of us growing up scoring Bathory, Celtic Frost, Danzig etc merch, corrupting and burning an eternal impression in our then fragile minds that has gone unmatched. It’s an honor to be able to work with Relapse Records and Arthur Rizk, two titans of the underground, on our upcoming debut LP in spreading the spells that DEVIL IS YOUR MASTER!!!”

The band also have the following live dates scheduled:

John Frum Releases “Memory Palace” Video

Enigmatic, cult metal collective John Frum just unveiled a video for new song “Memory Palace.” The song is found on the band’s upcoming, debut album, “A Stirring In The Noos,” which is set for release through Relapse Records on May 12th.

Pre-orders are online now right here. The band also comments: “‘Memory Palace’ is a journey into the ever changing and expanding void we find ourselves hurtling through, and a reflection on the fleeting knowledge one stands to gain within. It also speaks to the pitfalls of our god complex and the futility of enlightenment on any scale.”

The mysterious John Frum is the manifestation of four musical minds coalescing in a collective consciousness developed from time spent playing with The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Faceless, John Zorn, Cleric and many more elite projects. This unorthodox debut maneuvers through 40 minutes of darkly psychedelic and meticulously crafted death metal, acting as the backdrop of a bad trip. Fans can also see the band live:

April 14 – Philadelphia, PA – Shred Shed w/ Surgeon + Night Raids + Special Guest Headliner TBA
April 15 – New York, NY – St. Vitus w/ Imperial Triumphant + Special Guest Headliner TBA
April 16 – Baltimore, MD – Metro Gallery w/Cemetery Piss + Special Guest Headliner TBA

Replacire Posts Full “Do Not Deviate” Album Stream

Boston’s explosive, multi-faceted technical metal band Replacire is now streaming forthcoming album “Do Not Deviate” in full ahead of the official release via Season Of Mist worldwide on March 17th, 2017.

Regarding the album stream, Replacire founder and guitarist Eric Alper comments: “Every note on this record was scrutinized for intent and purpose. This resulted in shorter, heavier songs, but they still retain the density that heavy music fans can appreciate over multiple listens.

“We would devote entire weeks to writing/arranging. Some songs came together after a couple hours, some took days on end before they were complete. Several songs never made it to the record despite several re-writes. We ended up with an intense record; a weird, cerebral, and crushing metal album that hopefully people will latch onto.”
