Dee Snider Posts New Music Video “Lies Are A Business” Online

Former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider has posted a new music video online for the song, “Lies Are A Business.” You can check it out below. The song is the sixth from his “For The Love Of Metal” to receive the music video treatment. Speaking about the song, Snider stated:

“The socio-political message of ‘Lies Are A Business’ is more important at this moment in time than ever before. The movement toward more controlling, all-powerful governments continues to grow and the current nightmarish situation in Venezuela is emblematic of the direction our world is sadly heading in. The incredible video for this song by award winning director Leo Liberti of Liberta Filmes truly captures my message with powerful metaphoric imagery while taking nothing away from the metallic power of the song!”

Unearth Posts New Music Video “One With The Sun” Online

Boston metalcore outfit Unearth has posted a new music video online for the song, “One With The Sun.” You can check it out below. The song comes from the band’s new album, “Extinction(s)” which will be released through Century Media Records on November 23rd.

“We chose ‘One With The Sun’ as the first video off Extinction(s) because we feel it’s one of the hardest hitting tracks in our entire catalog. Musically it’s everything Unearth is about and lyrically it deals with the effects of climate change we are feeling today as well as the bleakness of our future unless we make drastic changes now. Tim Dennesen and the guys at Punchdance, inc did a great job capturing the imagery needed to get the message across. You’ll be sure to hear this one at our live shows as it’s already become a staple in our set. See you out there,” says frontman Trevor Phipps.

Adrian Pain & The Dead Sexy Releasing “Mixed Messages” EP

Adrian Pain & The Dead Sexy’s new EP “Mixed Messages” is dropping this Friday, February 10th via indie label All-Core Records, who also commented:

“The EP continues the band’s solid chemistry of an ‘Allcore’ metal sound with emotionally stirring and socially conscious lyrics. Evolving from past EPs, 2014’s ‘Picture Day At Night School’ and their 2013 debut ‘The First One Is Free’ along with Adrian Pain’s solo full length 2012’s ‘Love Letters & Suicide Notes,’ ‘Mixed Messages’ is a mixture of Adrian Pain’s solo work and The Dead Sexy’s band work with subtle messages that they hope would help their fans deal with negativity in different aspects of their lives.”

The band also had this to say: “This release is like the gateway drug to metal and heavier music in general! We appeal to a very wide range of musical tastes so guys can play us for their girlfriends, and girls can play us for the guys. If you identify another way, you can play us for whomever you’d like. If any negative response comes out of it, it’ll be the fans that expect every song to get heavier with each effort.

“What I hope they notice is the constant evolution of our sound. The music itself is getting more and more diverse and progressive, while the song structures are also evolving into bigger, more complex arrangements. I want everyone that listens to this record to feel an emotional connection. I want people to relate to, and hear the MESSAGE in each track.”
