Debut Album “Cosmic Apostasy” Streaming In Full From Nekhrah

Nekhrah unleashed a full stream of the debut album “Cosmic Apostasy” via Toilet ov Hell at this location, or even more conveniently in the player at the bottom.

Previously known as Impalement, the Mediterranean-based act will self-release the full-length on September 29th. “Cosmic Apostasy” was mastered by Alan Douches of West West Side Music. The artwork of the album and the design of the band logo was created by Maciej Kamuda.

The band name “Nekhrah” is an Anglicised version of the Greek word “????a” which means “death” or “deadness” and/or “emptiness” in Greek.

The philosophy behind the band is Nihilistic. That is to say, the belief that existence is meaningless and that there is no inherent meaning in anything we do, think or experience. The lyrics revolve heavily around misanthropy, cataclysm, self-destruction and a desire of non-existence.

“Humanity is but a herd of ritualistic apes that congregate to ceremonialise their own insignificance.”

Details Of New Album “Alba” Revealed By Sleeping Romance

Let the curtain rise on the new Mediterranean symphonic metal sensation: Sleeping Romance. The new album “Alba” will be released on November 3rd 2017 via Napalm Records and available as digital download as well as jewel case.

This Italian quintet displays true mastery, as they fuse bloodcurdling classical sounds with monstrous melodic death metal-riffing. The music is full of force yet sustained by noble, theatrical flamboyance and provides a symphony for the broken-hearted who somehow manage to love again.

The upcoming album “Alba” leads a journey of orchestral opera arrangements and siren songs; touching, sometimes frightening, but always as personal as can be. Songstress Federica Lanna means every word she sings and Federico Truzzi complements her lovely voice with delicate guitars. Don’t miss out on all details including track listing, release date, available formats and album cover below.

The band commented states: “We are very excited to present our new album ‘Alba,’ an album we are very proud of! ‘Alba’ represents a strong musical evolution compared to our debut album and is more dark, powerful and deep. Heavy guitar riffing, a lot of orchestral and choir sections and emotional lyrics is what you’ll get from this album. All strings, woodwinds, brasses and choir parts are recorded live to give our songs real life and a great sound.

The concept of Alba, ‘Dawn’ in Italian, centers around the main character and her life that advances through difficulties, choices and mistakes, and leads the character to a positive growth. The message the concept wants to give is that life is complex, full of obstacles, but there’s always a way forward, and an opportunity for everyone to reach what their heart desire.
We really hope you will appreciate our second album, both the music and the concept and atmosphere!”

The full track listing can be found below:

1. Overture – Twilight
2. Where The Light Is Bleeding
3. Lost In My Eyes
4. Touch The Sun
5. Forgiveness
6. My Temptation
7. Across The Sea
8. Everything Behind
9. Through The Looking Glass
10. Alba

A Hero For The World Announces New Album “West To East Part 1 – Frontier Vigilante”

International melodic crew A Hero For The World announced today that a new album called “West To East Part 1 – Frontier Vigilante” is to be released this summer. This is the second all-original, full-length album from the band, and the first in 4 years.

In the years since the previous debut album, A Hero For The World has released a full-length Christmas album (“Winter Is Coming – A Holiday Rock Opera”) in addition to several EPs and singles.

After surviving a 7.2 earthquake and the super typhoon Yolanda in October & November 2013 that struck the Philippine islands, Jacob and Louie departed to the USA, where several songs where written in Nashville, and then they eventually settled in Europe by the Mediterranean. Jacob would during those years come to write over 100 songs that have yet to be recorded.

“West To East” is an adventure concept; a trilogy album series, with the first album having both the story and the music influenced by the Wild West legends and movies. The second part (hopefully out in 2018) continues the journey to the East, and in the third part the hero goes beyond this Earth and eventually out into the galaxy. The “hero” remains unnamed.

Music Video For New Song “Beast Incarnate” Premiered By Beheaded

Maltese brutal death metal act Beheaded premiered a video clip for the new song “Beast Incarnate” over at Decibel Magazine’s website at this location (also in the player below). The song is the title track from the upcoming new album which is expected for release via Unique Leader on January 27th.

The infernal, eight-track production draws upon the brutal and melodic approach to the band’s 2012-issued, critically-championed “Never To Dawn” long player. Recorded at MKII Recording Studio (Italy) and mixed and mastered by Ronnie Björnström (Teadeat, Bone Gnawer, Aeon, Those Who Bring The Torture etc.) at Enhanced Audio Productions Sweden, “Beast Incarnate” comes shrouded in the cover art of Gabriel Alegria Sabogal, welcomes the addition of new recruits — drummer Davide Billia and guitarist Simone Brigo – and truly stretches the boundaries of Beheaded’s signature sound to meet new extremes.

As a precursor to its release, the visual companion to the record’s title track is available now. The band commented: “When music is enriched with literature, imagery, colors, and visuals that reflect its essence, it is able to deliver a deeper, more profound immersive visual and aural experience. That is precisely what the video for the album title track ‘Beast Incarnate’ does. Using all these elements we have worked very closely with Very Metal Art in graphically creating and capturing the character and lifeblood of Beast Incarnate. The music video comes to outline the attributes of Mediterranean death metal – hard hitting and drilling in the psyche. Musically drawing upon the very roots of the band’s earliest material and molded from a quarter of a century since Beheaded’s inception. Beast Incarnate cements twenty-five years of extreme music with an imprint of the band’s present signature sound.”

The track list for “Beast Incarnate” is as follows:

1. Beast Incarnate
2. The Horror Breathes
3. Crossing the House of Knives
4. Reign of the Headless King
5. The Black Death
6. Cursed Mediterranean
7. Fid-dlam ta’ dejjem
8. Punishment of the Grave

Beheaded Releasing New Album “Beast Incarnate”

Malta-based brutal death metal horde Beheaded will release a fifth full-length next year via Unique Leader Records. Entitled “Beast Incarnate,” the infernal, eight-track production draws upon the brutal and melodic approach to 2012’s “Never To Dawn” offering.

Welcoming drummer Davide Billia and guitarist Simone Brigo to the fold, the album seethes with the band’s Mediterranean brand of brutality belting out caustic vocals, punishing riff and crushing drum sequences.

Recorded at MKII Recording Studio in Italy and mixed and mastered by Ronnie Björnström (Teadeat, Bone Gnawer, Aeon, Those Who Bring The Torture etc.) at Enhanced Audio Productions in Sweden, “Beast Incarnate” comes shrouded in the cover art of Gabriel Alegria Sabogal.

Comments the band: “The driving force behind Beast Incarnate was to create a milestone for Mediterranean death metal by cementing and defining the essence of Beheaded’s signature sound drawing inspiration from the different facets of the band’s twenty-five years of existence and pushing boundaries to take it to new extremes. Beast Incarnate can be considered the pinnacle of the band’s history, echoing the eerie old school melodies and blasphemous poetry of the 1998 album Perpetual Mockery infused with technical elements of the 2005 Ominous Bloodline making this album an indisputable successor to Never To Dawn. The Horror breathes and The Beast is among us.”

New album “Beast Incarnate” will be released on January 27th, 2017 via Unique Leader Records with preorder options to be announced in the weeks to come.

1. Beast Incarnate
2. The Horror Breathes
3. Crossing The House Of Knives
4. Reign Of The headless King
5. The Black Death
6. Cursed Mediterranean
7. Fid-dlam ta’ dejjem

Ecnephias To Release Self-Titled Album

Italian metal outfit Ecnephias has issued the following announcement about releasing a new album:

“Dear friends and fans, our new album (out in 2014) will be titled ‘Ecnephias’ as our name and will also feature the homonymous title track, the definitive seal of our new style: projected into the future but with some references to our past.

“The music will surprise you, there will be a heavy dose of dark rock (the Cure, Tiamat), gothic metal (Paradise Lost, Moonspell) and, of course, the usual atmosphere of our ‘death doom’ style. Damn melancholy and deep, epic.

“In the next ‘opus’ you will also find a folk song with a Mediterranean theme music, a dark and atmospheric lullaby of South Italy, vaguely reminiscent of Lost Love Ballad (Lost God). Stay tuned!”
