Greek Symphonic Dark Metal Outfit W.E.B. Sign With Alpha Omega Management

Alpha Omega Management is thrilled to announce the signing of the Greek Symphonic Dark Metallers W.E.B.

W.E.B. is a Dark / Black / Death / Goth Metal band based in the ashes of Athens – Greece. The Fall of 2002AD was the time that the idea of W.E.B. was born and started to take a lifeform shape from an embryonic state to a music challenge expressing darkness and death through adrenaline and poetry. An expression both straight but at the same time theatrical. W.E.B. is here to move you, provoke you, and invite you to the journey through ravendark starless nights with a fire made of Metal music. Their fourth album, “Tartarus” came out on November 10th (2017) via Apathia Records, which is probably the band’s most diverse album, so far! “Tartarus” focuses on a deeper inclusion of orchestrations, making it sound more epic, while keeping the band’s very own Dark Metal genre. The album also features a noticeable guest apparition by Sotiris Vayenas (Septic Flesh) on the ninth track “Thanatos Part I – Golgotha”.

Stated W.E.B.:

“We have reached the point of our journey that we are ready to take one step ahead. The cooporation of W.E.B. with Alpha Omega Management will bring us closer to our achievments and closer to the best people out there, that is our fans.”

Alpha Omega Management adds:

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome W.E.B. to our roster family! These guys are Epic, their music captures you with their theatrical dark poetry, brainstorming your thoughts to a new level, like a morbid and disturbing nightmare, but at the same time like a form of therapy. W.E.B. it’s definitely an obscure journey to an invisible world right next to us. Take your seat and enjoy the ride!”

Krisiun Streams New Track “Scars Of Hatred”

Krisiun just released “Scars Of Hatred” from upcoming album “Forged In Fury,” due out worldwide via Century Media Records on August 7th, 2015.

The album will be available as a limited edition digipak including two bonus tracks as well as a woven patch, and 180g gatefold 2 LP edition with etching (including the album on CD) and as a digital download.

“Forged In Fury” was produced by Erik Rutan and the stunning cover artwork was created by renowned artist Joe Petagno. Krisiun comments:

“[The album] marks our return to the studio after 3 years of constantly touring all over the globe. Things were working well as we were always satisfied with the results of the previous records, but we thought that it was time for a change. Erik Rutan was the chosen one to be the producer, at Mana Recording Studios in Florida.

“This album could be described as a ‘more natural’ sounding album; the songs came out with more ambience and more low-end, making it sound even more brutal and straight-forward. It took us a lot of hard work and dedication, no fashions or tendencies were followed, this is a true relentless metal album to the bone, with a huge, natural sound. The song writing captures all the experience and feelings we gathered thru all the years of touring and recording, it has more variation and dynamics, but is still 100% Krisiun.

“Erik has a huge participation within the whole process, especially with regards to the band’s performance. He was able to get the best out of each one of us, as we have been friends for a long time, so it was a pleasure working with him. This album was made with a lot of heart and passion for metal music. Hopefully you metal maniacs enjoy it as much as we did working it out.”

Devil You Know Reveals Self-Titled Album Release

Devil You Know, the creative union of former Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones, All Shall Perish guitarist Francesco Artusato, and Devolved drummer John Sankey, has finished tracking a debut for Nuclear Blast Entertainment and is also gearing up for a first round of live performances in early 2014.

Beginning on February 22nd in Brisbane, Australia, Devil You Know will join the Soundwave Festival Tour and will mark the addition of guitarist Roy Lev-Ari and Bleeding Through bassist Ryan Wombacher to the band’s lineup.

“After a period of being so intensely creative writing and recording the album, it’s exciting to finally take it out on the road,” says Jones. “It’s great to have the two new guys. Roy is a great fit. Ryan and I have played tons of shows together in Bleeding Through and Killswitch and have known each other for years.”

Produced by Logan Mader, Devil You Know’s inaugural effort is presently being mixed by none other than Chris “Zeuss” Harris. “It’s the record I’ve waited my entire life to make,” states Artusato. “Logan really pushed us and brought the best out of us and now Zeuss is making it sound amazing!”

Artwork for the album is currently being finished up by noted painter and illustrator Travis Smith. The self-titled album is tentatively slated for a March/April release in 2014.

Falconer Posts "O, Tysta Ensamhet" From New Album "Armod"

Swedish folk metallers Falconer have launched their second single “O, tysta ensamhet,” taken off their brand new studio album “Armod” via the German Metal Hammer website. You can check out the song by heading over to this location.

Falconer will release the band’s seventh studio album “Armod” on June 7th via Metal Blade Records in North America. The CD features 11 songs completely sung in Swedish and four bonus tracks that are English versions of the band members’ favorite new songs.

Comments Falconer guitarist Stefan Weinerhall: “The album is embracing the Swedish folk music to a greater extent than before making it sound slightly more down to earth. The music spans from acoustic songs with cello, flute and fiddle to songs with blast beats and really heavy riffing. As said before this is a ‘one-time-only’ album and does not define the future sound of FALCONER, but it was about time to pay full notice to the influence that has always made us different. Now we have that out of our system!”

“Armod” was once again recorded at King Diamond guitarist Andy La Rocque’s Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden, during December and January. The “Armod” track listing and cover artwork can be viewed below.

1. Svarta Änkan
2. Dimmornas Drottning
3. Griftefrid
4. O, Tysta Ensamhet
5. Vid Rosornas Grav
6. Grimborg
7. Herr Peder Och Hans Syster
8. Eklundapolskan
9. Grimasch Om Morgonen
10. Fru Silfver
11. Gammal Fäbodpsalm

English bonus versions (only available on limited first edition digipak):
1. Black Widow
2. Grimborg
3. By The Roses’ Grave
4. O, Silent Solitude
