Scrotoctomy Unveils Debut Album “Born To Eviscerate”

Mexican slam brigade Scrotoctomy has revealed full details on debut album “Born to Eviscerate,” featuring album art by Indonesian illustrator Aghy Purakusuma Art and recorded by Carlos Cruz at El Abuelo Slam Music Studio.

“’Born to Eviscerate’ was written and recorded throughout 2016,” states vocalist Omar García. “We changed things up a bit when you compare this album to our EP, ‘From Torture to Putrefaction’. With influences such as Pathology and Katalepsy, we tried giving this album a more brutal death approach. Overall, we sped up the new tunes and in some cases, made it more technical. We hope this album can become a strong reference to what is Mexican death metal.”

Due out May 5th, 2017 via Gore House Productions, the track listing for “Born To Eviscerate” is as follows:

1. Intro
2. Royal Impalement
3. 818
4. Born to Eviscerate
5. Samurai Disembowelment
6. Through Maggots and Entrails
7. Sextrangulation
8. The Taste of Sickness
9. Psychological Mutilation

Stray From The Path Update On The Recording Of New Album

Stray From The Path has posted the following update online concerning its forthcoming new full length:

“We just finished wrapping up our new record that will be out this summer on Sumerian Records. We are very proud of this record and can’t wait for everyone to hear it. We feel that we took a lot of what we were doing on Make Your Own History and made it more raw, grittier and darker.

“The record also features a few guest appearances that will be revealed in due time. We will be playing two songs off the new record on the tour w/ Underoath, Times of Grace and Letlive. We are playing lots of cities we haven’t been to in a long time, lots of familiar places and some brand new places. Stay tuned to our Facebook page in the coming weeks for new music, new studio updates and tour video blogs, as well as new merch designs. Stray From The Path has never been more excited about a tour before. See everyone on the road.”
