Cirrosis Posts New Music Video “The Daydreamer’s Nightmare” Online

Mexico’s Cirrosis have just released their latest music video for their next single “The Daydreamer’s Nightmare” off their upcoming album “The Collector of Truths” due out later in 2019. The album is the band’s second studio release and first in English to follow their debut Spanish language album “Reciclando Desesperación” released 20 years ago in 1999. You can check out the video below.

The video was directed by Carlos Hermosillo and showcases the band’s mix of death and thrash, suitable for fans of Fear Factory, Morbid Angel and Pestilence. The band has been lurking in the shadows and with Grammy-nominated producer Francisco ‘Chucky’ Oroz playing guitar they are finally ready to return to the underground metal scene and prove they can still write fast and technical music.

Even after 20 years, Cirrosis is still in demand and they are looking forward to satisfying their longtime fans and impressing new ones.

Vocalist Sir Oz comments:

“Fans will hear a more versatile and technical Cirrosis, it’s organized brutality and non-pretentious songs. There are songs that seem to have an insane competition of virtuosity, we respect that, but we seek to offer a good song, heavy but structured songs. However, this does not mean that fans are not going to find technical aspects in our album; actually, they are going to find it a lot.”

Atreyu Premiere New Official Music Video “In Our Wake”

Atreyu premiere a new official music video for the title track to their new effort “In Our Wake“. That album will be out October 12th via Search & Destroy/Spinefarm.

Says the band’s bassist Porter McKnight of this latest video:

“With this music video, we wanted our longtime director friend Sean Stiegemeie to come up with something completely unlike anything we’ve done before. We wanted to leave the viewer with a feeling of ‘What the fuck did I just watch!?’ and then play it again to deduce what went down.

Most of our videos have been story-based or life-based. But with this, we just wanted the subtle thread of humanity’s growth and decline. It starts with water, then earth, nature, cityscapes, then slowly decaying humanity. We have a choice as a species to start giving a shit about ourselves and the world around us, and what we choose to make of this life.”

Valentine Berlin Releases New Self-Titled Album

Ghoul rocker Valentine Berlin has released a self-titled record via Limelight Records. His music is reminiscent to Alice Cooper in many ways, but listeners of bands like Type O Negative, HIM, Marilyn Manson, and even Smashing Pumpkins will enjoy the record.

The ten songs that represent the album feature spooky sounds and infectious chorus lines. Berlin, the mastermind of Bob Dee (who many know from such songs as “Social Awkward” from his Bob Dee With Petro band) has created songs with such catchy refrain listeners will have a difficult time putting down the record. “Ghost Hey Hey” and “Dance With A Vampire” were both made into videos and can be seen below.

“Valentine Berlin” follows a tragic storyline: while driving along the Amalfi Coast in Italy, Val fell victim to a motorcycle accident that killed his longtime girlfriend Petra. Val isolated his self into the mountains where he fueled his pen with grief and sadness and wrote the 10 moribund tracks as a tribute to his fallen love. This dreadful story has been documented in a comic book enclosed in the album created by Japanese manga artist Ruyu.

01. Ghost Hey Hey
02. Dance with a Vampire
03. Bats Bats Bats
04. Sons & Daughters
05. Daria
06. Ghost Squad
07. Freaks & Geeks
08. Witch Hunt
09. Goth Girl
10. Salvation

Capsize Premieres Music Video For “The Same Pain” From New Album “A Reintroduction: The Essence of All That Surrounds Me”

Capsize premieres a new music video for “The Same Pain”, taken from the band’s latest album “A Reintroduction: The Essence of All That Surrounds Me”, out in stores now via Equal Vision Records.

Check out now “The Same Pain” below.

Comments the band:

“The band went off the grid for a weekend and got a cabin on a mountain to make this video and celebrate the release of the album. We brought along our buddy Johann Arteaga Ramos of Dream Films Los Angeles to film, and our longtime friend and photographer Jimmy Sandoval to act in the video. The song is about feeling trapped in selflessness – which to most is a quality that is admired, but it can also put you in a worse position when being there for a person who blatantly takes it for granted. And even though your time may be best spent on something else, you still convince yourself that you’re content in the same pain because of how much you care.”

Castle Freak Streams “Human Hive” EP

Gore-obsessed death metal band Castle Freak is currently streaming new EP “Human Hive” online in full. The EP, which is due to be released on March 18th, is five tracks of filthy death metal played the old school way.

Check it out below, courtesy of Metal Injection. Castle Freak guitarist Zak Carter had the following to say about the release:

“I’m very fucking stoked about how our new EP ‘Human Hive’ turned out. It’s our first release since coming back from being on hiatus for most of 2015, and our first with our new rhythm section. I’m very happy to have my longtime friends Sebastian Phillips and Ben Anft in the group on drums and bass, respectively, and I feel that their contributions to this release make it a perfect successor to ‘Still Rotting’ both in terms of songwriting and production.”
