Neurosis Announces North American Tour Dates With Bell Witch

Having just returned from their tour of Japan with Converge, visionary heavy music icons Neurosis have announced a new North American tour for this summer, with Bell Witch and Deafkids also on the bill.

Neurosis’ previously-announced tour of Europe runs from July 11th through 27th with support from Yob. The band also plays a special one-off London performance with Godflesh on July 20th.

Upon their stateside return, Neurosis will now head back out to the Eastern US and Southeastern Canada for a run of performances in August. The new dates, confirmed to run from August 7th through August 17th, will see the band performing in Atlanta, Carrboro, Washington, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, and Chicago.

On this tour, direct support will be provided by Seattle doom metal outfit Bell Witch. Opening support will be deployed by Brazilian avant/noise/industrial trio Deafkids, who Neurosis signed to their own Neurot Recordings. This tour marks Deafkids’ first time on North American soil.

Diamond Head Reveals New Album “The Coffin Train” Release Date

Formed in 1976 under the riff-rolling leadership of guitarist Brian Tatler, Diamond Head would quickly establish themselves as a vanguard of the exploding New Wave Of British Heavy Metal scene. With their genre-defining debut album Lightning To The Nations, Diamond Head has influenced and opened gates for many metal bands.

Diamond Head will be touring Europe for most of 2019 and are confirmed on the lineup of two very special UK shows with NWOBHM giants, Saxon, which will take place on October 19th at the iconic Hammersmith in London and October 20th at the O2 Apollo in Manchester.

Full Of Hell and The Body will co-headline a European run this summer and plan to perform collaborative sets featuring material from their past releases together on some stops of the tour. In related news, Full Of Hell have wrapped up recording their fourth full-length. Converge‘s Kurt Ballou was behind the boards at his GodCity Studio in Salem, MA for the recording sessions. Relapse have scheduled a mid-2019 release date for that effort.

Gloryhammer Announces October UK Tour Dates

Gloryhammer are about to return from another epic quest, and they come bearing their new album, Legends From Beyond The Galactic Terrorvortex, due out late spring 2019 via Napalm Records! The galaxy waits in fear for the return of Angus McFife XIII, who fought the greatest battle the galaxy has ever heard of, against the evil sorcerer Zargothrax. All hope of the Kingdom of Fife lies in the strong arms and the infinite wisdom of their young prince.

And the mighty warriors of the galaxy have just announced an eight date headline tour of the UK and Ireland which kicks off in Heaven (the London one!) on October 18th, 2019 and ends in the mighty city of Dundee. Joining them are Beast In Black and Napalm label mates Wind Rose.
