Incendiary Premieres New Song “The Product Is You” From Upcoming New Album “Thousand Mile Stare”

Incendiary premieres a new song entitled “The Product Is You”, taken from the upcoming new album “Thousand Mile Stare”, which will arrive in stores May 05th through Closed Casket Activities.

Check out now “The Product Is You” below.

Shares vocalist Brendan Garrone of this track:

“‘The Product Is You‘ was the last song we wrote for ‘Thousand Mile Stare.’ I think you can hear the urgency and anger on the track as we were sort of at our breaking point of writing and preparing for recording. This was unabashedly designed to be a heavy track. Lyrically, the song touches upon the notion of people as currency or commodities which can be bought and sold.

I kind of went off on a tangent about this onstage at a show in London and tried to turn that stream of consciousness speaking into the basis of the song. I’ll just say that everything comes at a price, even things we deem ‘free.'”

Ohhms Premieres New Song “The Magician” From Upcoming New Album “The Fool”

Ohhms premieres a new song entitled “The Magician”, taken from the upcoming new album “The Fool”, out March 31st via Holy Roar Records.

States the band: “We have tackled the subject of GMOs contaminating the food we eat on our debut EP in the song ‘Bad Seeds’, which highlighted corporate greed and the huge amounts of cash that can be saved by cutting corners. I was shocked that the information was out there in the public domain, and yet we just ignore it and continue to eat poisons day after day. I started reading university papers on the subject, and one that really affected me was a whistleblower type book named ’Seeds of Deception’ by Jeffrey M. Smith. It wasn’t full of technical jargon and I read it in one long and harrowing sitting. I wrote the lyrics for ‘The Magician’ the very next day. I have to admit, it was an utterly inspiring read. Musically, it was the first ‘fast’ song that we had ever written, although in reality its pretty much mid-paced and even though it lasts a little over eight minutes in total, I only managed to fit in one verse, one middle eight and a killer chorus at the end. It’s all it needed. It’s disgusting and angry enough, so any more riffs or anymore vocals would have been sensory overload.”

Check out now “The Magician” below.

Stray From The Path Finishes Recording New Album

On a mission to bring honest, pissed off music to the world, Long Island New York’s Stray From The Path just completed recording a next full-length offering that follows the band’s 2015 release “Subliminal Criminals.”

The band recorded once more with Will Putney, who also produced, mixed, and mastered the yet-to-be-titled studio release at Graphic Nature Audio out of Belleville New Jersey, with additional vocal production from Jesse Barnett of Stick To Your Guns.

Vocalist Drew York comments on the recording process: “Having our new drummer Craig Reynolds in the studio made for a different experience going into it, but Craig is an absolute maniac and he smashed it!! We also pushed ourselves harder than we ever have before working 12, sometimes 16 hours a day; there was a couple of times I thought I was losing my mind haha.

“Going back to Will Putney was an obvious choice for us because he is a genius and plays a huge part in the aesthetic of this band. We also had our good friend Jesse Barnett do some vocal production and it was great having him there, shooting ideas around, and getting involved with everything.

“To wrap it up, if I could describe the record in a few words I would say that it is the heaviest, most pissed off, and relentless record this band has ever made. And that makes me very happy.”

Catch Stray From The Path live in North America as direct support to Architects on the “All Our Gods Have Abandoned U s” tour that just kicked off on March 7th in Detroit, MI and wraps up on April 6th in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Until Rain Inks Deal With Sensory Records

Greek progressive/alternative metal outfit Until Rain has signed with Sensory Records for the release of impending third full-length album, “Inure.” The band has issued some insight into the album today, including a dramatic trailer, track listing, and more. Additionally, the band has scheduled both European mainland and Balkan tours in conjunction with this release.

“Inure” was recorded by Until Rain in various European cities, including Thessaloniki, London, Gothenburg, and Lausanne, and mixed/mastered by Daniel Cardoso of Anathema in Lisbon, Portugal.

The album features artwork by new Greek artist/designer Nassia Kefala, and a hand-drawn cover that completely represents the concept of the album and the duality of many inured people; appearing lush on the outside, yet they are rotted inside. With nine massive tracks, “Inure” presents an hour-long journey that you will want to take again and again, the digital release bearing an additional bonus track as well.

Sensory Records will release “Inure” in Europe on April 28th and in the US on May 12th; an official digital single for “Because Something Might Happen” will be released through Spotify and other digital outlets on March 21st, accompanied by an official video for the song the same day.

Comments Until Rain: “We’re thrilled and proud to be working with such a renowned and well-established label like Sensory, for our third album. The list of progressive bands, that have had their careers pushed immensely by this record label is too big to state here, so let’s just say that we expect a lot of good things to happen. This album is a sincere and natural evolution for us, headed in a much more prog direction, in the essential meaning of the word.”
