Invasion Unveils “Destroyer Of Mankind” Album Details

Six years since the release of last album “Orchestrated Kill Maneuver,” Indiana’s war-themed death machine Invasion will release “Destroyer of Mankind” via Abyss Records on February 17th.

This brutal and uncompromising release demonstrates Invasion’s vicious blitzkrieg and wages battle with new members Dan Klein (drums) and John Hehman (lead guitar), while main songwriter/lyricist/guitarist Peter Clemens continues his obsession with World War II.

Peter had this to say about the band’s activities leading up to the recording of the album: “It’s been almost 6 years since ‘Orchestrated Kill Maneuver’ was released on Rotting Corpse Records, and it’s been somewhat of a frustrating endeavor. We lost original drummer Dave ‘Ross’ Cady in early 2014 and had auditions for the vacancy, which led to more delays, but in the end we acquired Dan Klein on drums and lead guitarist John Hehman. Plus we teamed up with Sea Of Tranquillity/Screamking guitarist Ralphael Hernandez who played on the ‘Berserk Artillery Barrage’ CD from 2001, so things have been moving forward.”

Asked about his switch from guitar to bass, Peter stated “I’m an average guitar player so I had no problem handing guitar duties to John Hehman. He’s an excellent musician with a good ear, and teaming up with him to work on the new Invasion recordings was an obvious choice. John pretty much helped lay the groundwork for the recordings in his studio (Broken Toe/Bang Recordings) and things turned out great.”

02. Approaching Cauldron Of Horror
03. The Divine Wind
04. Iron Bottom Sound
05. Dying On The Beaches Of Normandy
06. A Satisfying Death

Devanation Posts “Suffering Bay” Music Video

California Bay Area heavy metal group Devanation just launched a music video for the track, “Suffering Bay,” taken from debut album, “Dominion of Oblivion.”

Stream the new video clip, directed by David Ledbetter, in the player below. Commented Devanation vocalist Jacob Shaw:

“‘Suffering Bay’ is a piece of the concept album story of our debut full-length Dominion of Oblivion. In this ‘chapter,’ a man, nearing the end of his journey through the Dominion, is confronted by the evil spirit that has assumed the form of his wife. I won’t give away any more!

“Our director David Ledbetter and I worked really hard on this one, making sure that it stayed as close to the story of the album as possible, while also being fun to watch. It’s difficult to say, but I think this is my favorite video I’ve ever been a part of.”

With the release of the new video, Devanation is also excited to announce the addition of lead guitarist Francis “Pacey” Abramczyk. “Pacey has been a good friend for years now – we did a tour together a few years back,” said Shaw. “When we brought him out to jam with us, it just clicked. I’m really excited about it.”

Snake Eyes Seven Wrapping Up Work On New Album “Medicine Man”

Canadian heavy metal band Snake Eyes Seven is in the final phase of completing third release “Medicine Man.” The album is currently being mixed by producer and lead guitarist Cam MacLeod at the Wolf Den in Edmonton, Alberta.

Once mixdown is completed, the project then heads to L.A. to be mastered. The album will contain 9 blistering tracks of heavy metal and two videos were shot on location in December 2015 at the Twin D Ranch in Vancouver for the tracks “Medicine Man” and “Can You Hear Me Calling.” Both videos were produced by Danny Deane, executive produced by Cole Stevens, with executive assistance by Cat in the Hat Productions.
