Namazu To Tour Western United States

Memphis metal/hardcore hybrid Namazu are pleased to announce that they will tour the Western United States. The tour will begin on December 27th 2017 in Springfield, MO and will consist of fourteen shows across ten states.

All shows will be in support of the band’s critically acclaimed album Works Cited.

The band commented “We are stoked on our upcoming tour. We are playing some very rad venues, with some very rad bands!”

Tengger Cavalry Gearing Up For U.S. Tour Dates

Mongolian folk metal group Tengger Cavalry recently released the new “Mountain Side” EP (streaming below) and this Sunday, May 15th, the band will kick off a U.S. headline tour in support of the EP.

So This Is Suffering Inks Deal With Unique Leader Records

Victorville, California-based So This Is Suffering has forged an alliance with Unique Leader Records for the release of the band’s impending fourth album, which is currently in production. Additionally, the band has confirmed a headlining April U.S. tour with Lord Of War.

Writing is underway for new release “A Palace For The Pessimist,” the band’s first release for Unique Leader Records. Issues the band of the signing: “We’re excited to be working with one of the top leading labels in extreme music. It’s been a long journey and we want to thank our fans for their endless support along the way, thank you!”

Totimoshi Streaming "Waning Divine" Track Online

The Obelisk is hosting an exclusive premiere of Totimoshi’s “Waning Divine,” the final track off the California trio’s soon-to-be-released new full-length, “Avenger.” A tune about growing old, “Waning Divine” features Brent Hinds (Mastodon) and Scott Kelly (Neurosis, Shrinebuilder).

“Avenger” is set for release on August 16th, 2011 via At A Loss Recordings. The record was produced by Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Shrinebuilder, Tool), mastered by John Golden (Melvins, Mike Watt, OM) and includes appearances by Hinds and Kelly as well as Dale Crover.
