Deinonychus Returning With New Album “Ode To Acts Of Murder, Dystopia And Suicide”

My Kingdom Music just issued this announcement about the long overdue return of Deinonychus and an upcoming album:

“It’s been nine long years but now we can finally reveal that Deinonychus is back. Its reactivated Dutch protagonist, Marco Kehren, has set ‘Ode To Acts Of Murder, Dystopia And Suicide’ as the title of the long-awaited new album.

“Marco entered Spacelab Studio in Grefrath, Germany with Christian Moos a few weeks ago to begin recordings for his 8th album, the band’s first release since ‘Warfare Machines’ released on 2007. Steve Wolz (Bethlehem) will play the drums as it was for ‘Insomia’ album.”

New album “Ode To Acts Of Murder, Dystopia And Suicide” will be released worldwide via My Kingdom Music on October 2017. The label will also re-release the back catalog, including “Deinonychus” and “Ark Of Thought.”

Marco Kehren comments: “After the recordings of ‘Warfare Machines’ back in 2006 I felt things spinning downwards as for my involvement with Deinonychus, so just one year after its release, I decided to put things to rest in September 2008. That was the time when I started with Nihil Novi Sub Sole doing something closer to Martial / Industrial music.

“After releasing one album with Nihil Novi Sub Sole in 2010, I was about to get things together with Deinonychus again, but for several reasons it just didn’t come of the ground, it just didn’t feel like being the right moment… I just hadn’t got back that vibe which I had years before. However things have evolved eversince, and in early 2016 I decided to pick up things again in a serious matter and speeding up any efforts necessary to get Deinonychus back on track.

“So early 2016 a start was made in composing a new Deinonychus album. For the new album we are recording drums with Steve Wolz (Bethlehem). The album recordings process will be finished by the beginning of the new year at the Klangschmiede Studio under the guidance of Markus Stock (The Vision Bleak / Empyrium). Then we’ll take care of the process of mixing and mastering that will lead me and my always present label My Kingdom Music to the release of this new album in the fall 2017.

“I have invested my soul in this album, and I’m certain you’ll get in your hands the best, powerful and mournful Deinonychus music you have ever listened to.”

Black Witchery Releasing Early Works Compilation

During its nearly 20-year history, Black Witchery has appropriately earned recognition as one of the most important cults of bestial black metal ever to have emerged from North America.

Under its original moniker, Witchery, the band released two demos before changing its name and then went on to produce an EP and two split recordings before unleashing full-length debut, “Desecration of the Holy Kingdom,” in 2001. These early recordings capture an evolution in Black Witchery’s sound that has led to the band’s current position as one of the most violent purveyors of black metal.

On October 31st, on both CD and double-LP formats, Nuclear War Now! Productions is proud to resurrect the unholy document of Black Witchery’s evil ascension with “Evil Shall Prevail,” a collection of all tracks from the band’s ’97 demo, “Evil Shall Prevail” demo, “Summoning of Infernal Legions” EP, and the contribution to the “Hellstorm of Evil Vengeance” split with Conqueror.

Additionally, previously-unreleased outtakes from the “Hellstorm…” recording session are also included, as is Black Witchery’s cover of Sarcófago’s “Black Vomit” from the “Tribute to Sarcófago” compilation CD from 2001.

Shadow Kingdom Records just announced the signing of Italian group Death SS for the reissue of the band’s first three albums: 1988’s “…in Death of Steve Sylvester,” 1989’s “Black Mass,” and 1991’s “Heavy Demons.”

Each album will be released on CD, vinyl, and cassette formats, (as well as digital) with a T-shirt design produced for each album cover. Shadow Kingdom comments:

Bury Thy Kingdom Calls It Quits, Releases “Finite Reverie” EP

Pittsburgh-based metal band Bury Thy Kingdom has decided to throw in the towel, but not before releasing some final music, which can be heard below. The band comments:

“Announcement day is here! It’s a mixture of good and bad news. Let’s start out with the bad news to get that shit out of the way….

|Unfortunately, the struggle to keep this project alive has become too much effort. Today is the day Bury Thy Kingdom is hanging up our gloves. Some of you may have not seen this coming. Some of you may have. Words cannot express how grateful we are to have had you as amazing and supportive fans (read: friends). We love and thank you all!

“Now, onto the good news… Since we recorded, what seems like 19 years ago, we figured now would probably be a good time to release the music. That being said, you can stream our EP on our YouTube channel. In each videos description has the lyrics to each song and a link to where you can download the EP (with and without vocals) FOR FREE!

“It’s our gift to you for sticking with us, even throughout our recent, unbearably boring hiatus. Though Bury Thy Kingdom is no more, some members will continue to pursue music! Again, we cannot thank you all enough.”

Lost Soul Streaming New Song “Aqueous Ammonia”

On October 30, 2015 the new album by Polish death metal institution Lost Soul entitled “Atlantis – The New Beginning” will be released.

Today, you can get a first glimpse on new material by listening to “Aqueous Ammonia” below. Lost Soul mastermind Jacek Grecki comments on the song:

“It is my great pleasure to announce that we can finally share the first song from the upcoming album ‘Atlantis: The New Beginning’ with you! ‘Aqueous Ammonia’ is the second track on the album. I can not say it is one of my favorites, because I love all the songs on ‘Atlantis.’ However, this song seems to be the best piece to start interacting with our fans.

“Totally uncompromising, fast, dark, angry and expressively built song. Lyrical layer is set in the sphere of orbits of one of the outer planets of the Solar System. The underlying message is cleverly concealed under the story of the Kingdom of Poseidon, at the same time constituting a denial of the second commandment of the decalogue. The piece is complemented by a fantastic lead by our guitarist Marek Golas, embellished with choir and delicate keyboards in the background. Atlantis is approaching fast! Enjoy!”
