Psycroptic Premiere New Song & Music Video “Directive”

Psycroptic premiere a new song titled “Directive” from their forthcoming album “As The Kingdom Drowns“. The track is the latest to be debuted from the outing and arrives with the below music video. “As The Kingdom Drowns” will be out in stores on November 09th via Prosthetic.

Comments the group’s drummer Dave Haley of it:

“‘Directive‘ is one of our collective favorite tracks from the new album. It’s not often we all agree on which tracks to include in the live set, but I have a feeling this track will be quite a regular inclusion for a long time to come. The clip was filmed in Tasmania earlier this year, and put together by our good friend Wilson Bambrick. Enjoy!”

Gorod Premiere New Song “The Sentry”

You can listen to Gorod’s new track titled “The Sentry” streaming below. The group premiere that song taken from their upcoming album, “Aethra“, out in stores on October 19th via Overpowered Records.

Says vocalist Julien Deyres of this latest single:

“The concept behind ‘The Sentry‘ is that of worldwide myths and beliefs concerning the owl, and more specifically the barn owl. This nocturnal bird that is almost always associated with the moon in many different cultures is also generally considered as a guardian of the kingdom of the dead. This explains the title, and the lyrics are a global presentation of how human beings can perceive a same symbol in different places in the world.

We chose to release this song first because we see it as a good introduction to the new material on this album. This track is “straight in your face”, groovy, fast, and also showcases a brand new melodic orientation in Gorod‘s music.”
