Centuries Debut New Video “May Love Be With You Always”

Following the Southern Lord release of their second LP, The Lights Of This Earth Are Blinding, a new video from CENTURIES has been premiered online. Set to the album track “May Love Be With You Always,” the video was filmed and edited by Derrick Flanagin, and uses footage from Germany, Italy, Austria, India, Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan.

See CENTURIES’ “May Love Be With You Always” video below:

In the band’s words:

“The video is about human movement and the constant inertia we experience, frequently without taking time to properly reflect on it. Things we see, people we meet, places we go, stories we are told; events that are so fleeting they often don’t become catalogued in our memory and will forever exist only in that moment.”

New Album “Entering A Timeless Winter” Announced By Talv

Italian atmospheric black metal act Tav is set to release the new album “Entering A Timeless Winter” on November 3rd through A Sad Sadness Song Records. The album is the third full length release from the band.

Hailing from Italy, Talv started in early 2012 under the name of Trees In The Fog. The purpose has always been to merge dissonant and melancholic black metal with a touch of ambient music. Like painting a dismal scenario, Talv’s new effort is drowned into the darkest north-Italian naturalistic black metal inspiration. The cold and freezing guitar sound reminds of Tenebrae in Perpetuum and Beatrik’s classics, while the prevailing desperate feelings position the band within the groove of depressive black metal.

What makes of Talv a personal and unique project is the wise equilibrium between a hateful, cold hunger and a fragile background soundscape. The ColdWorld cover further emphasizes the strong visionary ambient perspective and inspiration of this raising underground project.

The band commented: “‘Entering a Timeless Winter’ is going to reveal the artistic direction of this new cold journey.”

The track listing is:

1. Dreaming a Funeral in Another Life
2. A Sad Moon Concealed by Pines
3. An Eternal Snowfall Will Come
4. Sidereal Hypothermia
5. Winterreise (Coldworld cover)

Igorrr released their latest album, Savage Sinusoid, in June via Metal Blade Records. On this record, electronic manipulations, accordion, saxophone, sitar, harpsichord, mandolin and strings sit comfortably alongside ruthless blastbeats, chunky riffs, death grunts and soaring operatic vocals – and as chaotic as this might sometimes seem, there is no lack of heart behind everything thundering from the speakers. Iron Maiden Premieres New Live Video For “Speed Of Light” From Upcoming New Live Album/Film “The Book Of Souls: Live Chapter”

Iron Maiden premieres a new live video for “Speed Of Light”, taken from the band’s upcoming new live album and film “The Book Of Souls: Live Chapter”, which will meet a November 17th release through BMG. Planned formats include CD, deluxe CD, vinyl and digital formats.

A live concert film for the release for it is also planned and will initially be streamed for free with more details to come. A digital download of the movie will be made available for purchase following the premiere.

Check out now “Speed Of Light” below.

Says the band’s bassist Steve Harris of it:

“We spent a huge amount of time working on this as I wanted to get it as close to the Maiden live experience as I possibly could and to represent our fans from different parts of the world. This meant listening to literally hours upon hours of tapes from every show, to select material and construct a sound that would run consistently across the whole album and capture the excitement of a new country like El Salvador alongside such regular favourites as Donington or Wacken.”

Songs featured on the set include:

“If Eternity Should Fail” (live in Sydney, Australia)
“Speed Of Light” (live in Cape Town, South Africa)
“Wrathchild” (live in Dublin, Ireland)
“Children Of The Damned” (live in Montreal, Canada)
“Death Or Glory” (live in Wroclaw, Poland)
“The Red And The Black” (live in Tokyo, Japan)
“The Trooper” (live in San Salvador, El Salvador)
“Powerslave” (live in Trieste, Italy)
“The Great Unknown” (live in Newcastle, UK)
“The Book Of Souls” (live in Donington, UK)
“Fear Of The Dark” (live in Fortaleza, Brazil)
“Iron Maiden” (live in Buenos Aires, Argentina)
“Number Of The Beast” (live in Wacken, Germany)
“Blood Brothers” (live in Donington, UK)
“Wasted Years” (live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
