New DVD Clip “Living For Tonite” Issued By Dirkschneider

In addition to the still ongoing successful “Back To The Roots” Tour, Dirkschneider will release “Live – Back To The Roots – Accepted!” on August 4th (EU) and August 18th (USA) via AFM Records as a DVD/2CD, BluRay/2CD and GTF, as well as triple Vinyl in two different colors. Check out a clip of “Living for Tonite” in the player below.

After putting out the live double CD last year (“Back to the Roots”), fans were asking for a visual output, so finally, in December 2016, the show in Brno (Czech Republic) was recorded for that purpose. Besides many classics from Udo Dirkscheider’s Accept era, there’s a cover version of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” as bonus track on the CD and Vinyl.

The singer with the charismatic voice had his musical breakthrough with Accept in the early 80s. “It’s still so much fun to sing these songs live, they are a part of my biography, but nevertheless it’s about time to turn that page. There was so much talking and speculations about me and Accept, so this is kind of a musical statement from my end – which seems to be very interesting for the fans who came to these shows.”

After the triumph all over the world in 2016, including tours in Israel and Japan, summer festivals and live shows in the US, Russia and Europe, Dirkschneider (now with Jon Oliva’s Pain guitarist Bill Hudson) continues touring in 2017 and 2018, including a second more extensive tour of North America. The new dates will feature an almost completely NEW set list. Of course, it will still contain only Accept hits, but this time with many different songs compared to the last tours.

Igorrr launches “The Making of ‘Savage Sinusoid’ [part3]“

– June 13th, 2017 –

On June 16th, Igorrr – the brainchild of French musician and eclectic composer Gautier Serre – will release their new album, Savage Sinusoid, via Metal Blade Records. On this record, electronic manipulations, accordion, saxophone, sitar, harpsichord, mandolin and strings sit comfortably alongside ruthless blastbeats, chunky riffs, death grunts and soaring operatic vocals – and as chaotic as this might sometimes seem, there is no lack of heart behind everything thundering from the speakers. To watch a behind-the-scenes video of the making of Savage Sinusoid, part 3 of the series can be viewed at: https://youtu.be/nLGLPWrfkI4

The previous episodes can be seen below:
–Part 1: https://youtu.be/Yq7_Kax-DwI
–Part 2: https://youtu.be/emJ1l8853pU

–Digipak CD
–pale skin clear vinyl (limited to 500 copies)
–cream/white splatter (limited to 200 copies – EU exclusive)
–golden yellow vinyl (limited to 100 copies – Bandcamp exclusive)
–tan-marbled vinyl (limited to 200 copies – US exclusive)
*exclusive bundles with a shirt, plus digital options are also available!

Savage Sinusoid track-listing:
1. Viande
2. ieuD
3. Houmous
4. Opus Brain
5. Problème d’émotion
6. Spaghetti Forever
7. Cheval
8. Apopathodiaphulatophobie
9. Va te foutre
10. Robert
11. Au Revoir

To realize Savage Sinusoid as a completely sample-free record, Serre reunited with vocalists Laurent Lunoir and Laure Le Prunenec, along with drummer Sylvain Bouvier, and collaborated with more musicians than on any of his previous releases – one of those guests being Cattle Decapitation‘s Travis Ryan, who lends his vocals on “Cheval”, “Apopathodiaphulatophobie” and “Robert”. “Viande” also sees Teloch (Mayhem) contribute some guitar/bass work, while “Houmous” features accordionists Pierre Mussi and Adam Stacey (the latter of whom is in Secret Chiefs 3 – a project by Mr. Bungle‘s Trey Spruance). While Savage Sinusoid draws from a plethora of genres, Serre has no intention of baffling or alienating potential listeners. As he explains:“I just want to make the music I love, without asking myself if it’s gonna be too complex or too far from what people like. I want to make the music which has sense to me, with no restrictions, like a big party with metalheads, electronics nerds, classical and baroque-heads and gypsy violinists getting drunk and joining together to bring the best of every genre.”

Xandria Comments On Upcoming Album “Theater Of Dimensions”

Xandria’s new album “Theater Of Dimensions” will be released worldwide on January 27th, 2017 via Napalm Records. The band comments:

“After the release of ‘Sacrificium’ we embarked on our longest tour so far. Over 150 shows that took us around the globe. Through so many different countries and diverse cultures. Through so many different, yet inspiring dimensions.

“We brought back plenty of memories, sometimes just bits and pieces, but those stuck to our heads. And it made us see who we are and where we wanted to take our music. Made us fearless. Made us push our boundaries once more. Made us cross some so-called genre defining borders. Made us bundle all our trademarks and take them to the next level.

“All this makes the most colourful Xandria album so far. It contains our most heavy and most emotional moments. Again, producer Joost van den Broek did a phenomenal job capturing the atmosphere down to every detail. ‘A Theater of Musical Dimensions.’ Can’t wait to share the songs with you…”
