Doyle Inks Deal With Lifeforce Records

Lifeforce Records has issued the following statement about inking a deal with Doyle:

“We are very proud and happy to announce the signing of French Post-hardcore outfit Doyle to the Lifeforce Records roster!

“Formed in 2007 by 5 Parisians, Doyle reached its first goals by burning its name in the collective mind of new metal / post-hardcore scene, with the help of a hard-hitting EP, ‘Submerge,’ as well as prestigious opening acts for bands such as Silverstein, 36 Crazyfists, Deaf Havana, Devil Sold His Soul, Attack Attack!

“In 2010, Doyle released its first LP ‘And Gods will…,’ mixed in the United States by Ulrich Wild (Deftones, Bleeding Through, Incubus…). The album jumped to #2 on the french rock/metal album charts and maintained its position on the Top 5 for 3 weeks. Between 2010 and 2012, the band toured through Europe with The Chariot, MyChildren MyBride, Between The Buried and Me, Animals as Leaders, Steak Number Eight and Deftones.

“With a new album recorded by Francis Caste at Studio Sainte-Marthe, Paris, Doyle is now ready to conquer new shores. Their second album and yet untitled Lifeforce Records debut allows the band to broaden their musical spectrum. From Pandemonium to Eden, brutality to poetry, Doylefollows its own game plan, and takes us along for the ride. The new album is set to be released in late September 2013.”

Bombs Of Hades Streaming New Song "Burn" Online

Swedish deathcrust delinquents Bombs of Hades will unleash new full-length, “The Serpent’s Redemption” via Pulverised Records on September 17th, 2012. The follow-up to 2010’s “Chambers Of Abominations” was recorded and mixed at Welfare Sounds Studio (RAM, Bombus, etc) and offers up eight tracks of sonic wreckage as well as the unholy artwork of Polish illustrator Rafal Kruszyk (Interment, Hooded Menace, Machetazo, Cianide, Coffins etc.).

Check out the song “Burn” at the band’s official Facebook profile right here. The following press release was also issued about the band:

“Forged in 2002 by bassist Ander Ekman and vocalist/guitarist Jonas Stålhammar (ex-God Macabre, ex-Utumno, etc) as an excuse to get drunk and pay homage to the likes of Discharge, Anti Cimex, Dissober, Autopsy, Nihilist/Entombed, Carnage and Slayer, Bombs of Hades initially churned out gristly crustpunk before heading towards an oldschool Swedish death metal direction, always retaining a burly d-beat/crust vibe. The band issued their Carnivores EP through Blood Harvest Records in 2008 as a limited 7”. The EP harvested considerable underground buzz and sold out. Bombs of Hades went on to release the Chambers of Abominations full-length again through Blood Harvest as well as an assortment of split 7”s and 10”s. Now it’s time for The Serpent’s Redemption. Bring out your dead…”

Rob Zombie To Record New Album, Announces More Tour Dates With Megadeth

The wait is over, Zombie lovers! Rob Zombie has announced that he and his band of maniacs – John 5, Piggy D and Ginger Fish – will enter the studio on June 1 to begin recording the next chapter in the Zombie musical legacy. This new, as yet untitled CD is set for a late 2012 release.

“It has been way, and I mean way too long without any new music. I am dying to get back to it,” said Zombie. “I have not felt this much excitement within the band since recording the first Hellbilly Deluxe record almost 15 years ago. We have been working on tons of songs for quite some time and I can safely say this will definitely be our best record yet.”

Before Lord Zombie and his band begin recording, they will hit the highway on a co-headline tour with metal legends Megadeth, marking the first time the two bands have toured together since the early 90s.

“This tour should be a blast,” said Zombie. “I haven’t shared a bill with Megadeth since way back in the early days of White Zombie, so this trek is long overdue.”

Two new dates have been added to the U.S. trek – May 13 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, and May 19 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO. The tour, which kicks off Friday, May 11 in Holmdel, NJ, will encompass high-profile appearances at several rock festivals, including Rock On The Range (May 20) that Zombie will co-headline with Incubus, and Rocklahoma (May 26) that Zombie will headline. Zombie will bring his full, explosive stage show out in full force on these dates, and audiences will get what they expect – a true rock and roll spectacle at its finest. Zombie will close all shows on the Megadeth dates.

Zombie’s latest film, “The Lords of Salem,” is currently in the final stages of post-production and promises to be Zombie’s most insane film yet. “I am enjoying taking my time finishing this film. I hate rushing things at this stage of the process, so it is a luxury to take it slow and really fine-tune every part of the production,” stated Zombie. No release date is set yet for the film.

Confirmed dates for the Rob Zombie/Megadeth U.S. tour are as follows:

MAY

11 PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel, NJ
12 Toyota Pavilion, Scranton, PA
13 Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, MD NEW!
16 Stage AE, Pittsburgh, PA
18 The Deltaplex, Grand Rapids, MI
19 Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, St. Louis, MO NEW!
20 Rock On The Range, Columbus, OH
22 La Crosse Center, La Crosse, WI
24 Tyson Center, Sioux City, IA
25 Hartman Arena, Wichita, KS
26 Rocklahoma, Pryor, OK

Tesseract To Play Bamboozle Fest, Announces Upcoming EP

After wrapping up a successful U.S. tour with Between The Buried and Me and Animals as Leaders, Tesseract is pleased to announce the band will be playing day three of Bamboozle Festival. Held in Asbury Park, NJ, Tesseract will perform on May 20th, appearing alongside a number of impressive performers. The band commented:

“Festivals are always great to do, but for our first US festival to be Bamboozle is crazy. To be on the same bill as Incubus, Foo Fighters and Bon Jovi is a great boost for us. Bamboozle has a great tradition of mixing things up, and the bill for the 10 year anniversary festival looks to be adhering firmly to this, with bands like TesseracT, Periphery and Whitechapel sharing the stage with Skrillex, Jimmy Eat World and All American Rejects. It looks like it’s going to be great fun!”

Visit this location for more information on the 2012 Bamboozle Festival.

Tesseract is currently working on an acoustic inspired EP with new vocalist Elliot Coleman, to be released in Spring. Check out a video of bassist Amos Williams performing a bass guitar play through to a track from the EP here. Williams offers this insight on the video for the forthcoming EP:

“I’ve been planning to film myself playing along to TesseracT’s debut ‘One’ for a while now. Over the Christmas holidays I asked our fans which song they would like me to film first, to which the answer was ‘April’. This got me thinking however, as ‘April’ has evolved quite a bit, in a similar fashion to the way ‘Concealing Fate’ had evolved over the years of performing it on tour. So, I figured it would make sense to perform the latest version of ‘April’ which we’re about to release with our new EP, which has the working title of ‘Perspective’. We’re still not sure if this will be the title, but at the moment it kind of makes the most sense.

“The EP itself was inspired by an acoustic session we filmed last year in New York, whilst on tour with Protest The Hero. It made us realize that a few of the tracks sounded really great when re-arranged and approached at from a different perspective. It will feature 3 new versions of tracks from ‘One’ plus a very special cover.

“Once we finish off this EP we will stay in the studio and begin work our new album. This is shaping up to continue the TesseracT sound we began to develop on ‘One’. A sound that is dynamic, tender, crushing, soaring, visceral, beautiful, emotive and heavy. A box of contradictions and infinite possibilities. With maybe the exception of Euro House…we’re not really that into Euro House…sorry.”
