New Single “Alba” Available From Unalei

Less than a year has passed since the release of the debut album “Taedium Vitae” by Italy’s Unalei and today the band issued the new single “Alba” via Club Inferno.

The song was mixed by Alfonso Fo’ Corace and mastered by the legend Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios.

It is a different and a bit stunning track for you, affected to their sound until now. An important step for Unalei which extends points of view and sound horizons and has been written in English for the first time. No distorsions, screams or double-bass, by now the metal/gothic vein may transpire only from the atmosphere and the sensations of the track.

Omnikage Inks Deal With Art Gates Records

Art Gates Records is proud to announce the signing of Omnikage to its international roster family, commenting:

“The band takes origin in 2009, it was a Sunday afternoon when the name OmniKage was written for the first time; the 5 members of the band were discussing the best way to explain their emotions. A mix of anger, frustration, hope, love, power and freedom. They understood that the solution could be to put people and their universe in a cage, Omnia – Kage.

“This five-pieced line up is inspired by very different influences, such as electronics, Nu Metal, Jazz and Bluesm Classic Heavy Metal vibes and Old School Death & Thrash Metal. Last November Omnikage were in Russia supporting Fear Factory on their tour.”

Omnikage also had this to say about the signing announcement: “We’re very excited and thankful to start this collaboration with AGR; we think that they will be an important step for our growth. Can’t wait to start working together and reach our goals.”

Omnikage will release the “Acceptance” album in April 2016, with more news coming soon.

Last Minute To Jaffna Signs With Argonauta Records

Argonauta Records has checked in with the following announcement about inking a deal with Last Minute To Jaffna:

“We’re proud to announce that post metallers Last Minute To Jaffna is the new huge band in the Argonauta Records roster!

“Born in Torino (Italy) in the mid of 00’s, Last Minute To Jaffna released their first EP in 2006, allowing them to tour in their country and abroad. With their 2008 debut album ‘Volume I’ they marked a better refinement of their own music style, also touring intensively throughout Europe, even opening for Isis at Torino’s main independent festival.

“2011 marked an important step in the band’s history: after playing an unplugged gig opening for Neurosis’ Scott Kelly they decided to record some old tracks and some new ones with acoustic guitars, clean voices and other odd instruments, helped by Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo of Young God Records’s act Larsen. The result was ‘Volume III,’ which finally came to light in 2014.

“Now, the new album ‘Volume II’ is set to be released by the beginning of 2015, and it is anticipated as a blast of heavy and atmospheric post metal sonorities, recorded and mixed by Lorenzo Stecconi (Ufomammut) and mastered by Collin Jordan (Yob, Corrections House, Minks).”
