Video Clip For New Song “I, Martyr” Issued By Hate Unbound

Hate Unbound’s critically acclaimed debut album “Plague” drops today via Inverse Records. The band celebrates in gloomy fashion with a new music video for the song “I, Martyr,” which is available in the player below.

Daryl Mitchell comments: “For the ‘I, Martyr’ video, we went with an abstract idea. One that implies that a persecuted person, a potential martyr if you will, had fought back against their oppressor and won. Now she is dragging her victim’s bodies in order release their souls. Showing the struggles she has from carrying the guilt and then bleeding out and dying. We tried to not get to deep into the specifics in hopes that people would form their own opinion of how and why things happen the way they do. We hope you enjoy it.”

The track listing for “Plague” is:

1. Baptized in Lies
2. Cut
3. Suffering
4. Burn Your Idols
5. Soiled
6. Puncture
7. Plague
8. I, Martyr
9. Grey Skies
10. The Fallen

Italy’s Deathless Legacy – featuring Vision Divine keyboardist Alessio Lucatti (as Pater Blaurot) and Motus Tenebrae drummer Frater Orion – released the debut album “Rise From The Grave” in 2014. The Gathering was recorded at Eden Studio in Pisa, Italy and mixed & mastered at Domination Studio in San Marino by acclaimed producer Simone Mularoni (DGM). And if the band’s influences are unmistakable, it is also true that their music stands out as something unique, as it’s particularly evident during the very theatrical live shows they are known for.

People who are familiar with the Lifeforce Records catalogue might recognize some faces they already know and you’re totally right… Fake Idols was formed from the union of three well-known and recognized European bands in the hard rock/metal genre, (who previously released two albums on Lifeforce Records), Raintime, Slowmotion Apocalypse and Jar of Bones.

Craving Posts “Only Teardrops” Music Video

Craving has posted a music video for the band’s cover of “Only Teardrops,” which can be found below, and Apostasy Records also comments on the track:

“Covering has a long tradition within the metal-scene but bands mostly pay tribute to their idols or just cover some classic tunes. The Northern German melodic death / black metal-outfit Craving made it a little different. The guys took the song ‘Only Teardrops’ by Emmelie De Forest who won this year’s European Songcontest and put their own unique stamp on it. The result is unmistakably a Craving-song which is now available as a video!”
