Foreseen HKI Streaming Full “Helsinki Savagery” Album

Bearing the identity “Helsinki Savagery,” the dominating and infectious rabid debut full-length recording from Finnish crossover quintet Foreseen HKI could not be more appropriate, as 20 Buck Spin will demonstrate with the album’s official release next week.

Strafk To Release “Phaseshifting” Debut Album

Wraith Productions has set May 13th as the release date for Strafk’s “Phaseshifting” debut. The label comments:

“A mysterious Russian duo of Leegheid and Stof, Strafk present Phaseshifting as a four-phase EP. These four phases are divided into four correlating tracks. The listener phase-shifts into a kind of audial abduction almost like a meditative paralysis, transcending visions through audio waves. The tone is set on the DOOMescent lines of black metal/rock – slow, dark, and hallow, like an abandoned insane asylum.

“The unearthing of this recording should not be disregarded due to its recent creation in the capital of spring and summer of the year 2013. The nature of the music seems untouched by time but carries a resemblance of a modern reoccurring sound that stems from the Slavic regions. Thus, we are left with resonance that is phase-shifting.”

The album’s track listing is as follows:

1. Phase I – (Void)stare
2. Phase II – Inner Distortion
3. Phase III – Death and Decay of Your Identity
4. Phase IV – The New Embodiment

Warseid Recruits New Guitarist Steven Hoff

Warseid has issued the following announcement about recruiting a new guitarist:

“We have a great many things to announce this day! First and foremost, it is with sorrow that we must announce that Brandon Salaway has relocated permanently to Nashville, Tennessee in order to pursue an individual musical career and attend college.

“He remains a close friend and we will likely continue to work with him in the future, but he is no longer a permanent member of the band. To that end, it is with joy that we reveal the identity of our new lead guitarist and the newest member of Warseid: Mr. Steven Hoff!

“Steve has been rehearsing with us for a little over a month now and has well shown his talent and personality. We are happy to say that both are a terrific fit. He has learned the existing lead parts and added his own personal touch to them, and has jumped in and is contributing heavily to the writing process, which brings us to our next announcement: the first ever Warseid full length.

“That’s right, we are officially working on a full length album. We have no date or name to release as of yet, but we have several songs in the works and a concept around which the album will be based. As more details become set in stone we will reveal them to you. But, for the time being you will just have to wait patiently and enjoy Where Fate Lies Unbound!”
