To The Wind Releasing New Album “The Brighter View”

This year marks a triumphant return for To The Wind, which is currently prepping the release of third studio album, “The Brighter View,” on October 7th from Pure Noise Records.

Today, the band has unleashed the record’s first new track, a ferocious song called “Temporary Escape.” More on the record will be revealed over the next few months.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Tanner Murphy says: “You have the choice to run away from anything, but that thing won’t go away until you stop and face it.”

Following 2014’s full-length release “Block Out The Sun & Sleep,” new album “The Brighter View” was recorded by Derek Hofman and produced by Andrew Neufelf of Comeback Kid. The new song also comes just days before the band kicks off the Common Vision tour with The Acacia Strain, Oceano, Knocked Loose and Culture Killer that will run from July 7th to August 13th. North Announces “Through Raven’s Eyes”

On the heels of reissues of 2006 debut “Siberia” and 2014 EP “Metanoia,” the Tucson-based sludge trio North will soon unveil the first new material to be released with Prosthetic Records: the two-track release “Through Raven’s Eyes.”

The new single, the cover art for which can be seen below, is scheduled for release on August 14th, the night before the band kicks off a 26-date headlining trek across the U.S. that includes a series of shows with post-instrumentallists Set and Setting.

Further details will be revealed in the coming weeks on “Through Raven’s Eyes,” but for now, listen to a brief sample of the new material via the below video.

Hollow Earth Streaming New Song “Beneath The Weight Of The Cross”

With the release of debut LP “Silent Graves” set for tomorrow (November 11th) on Panic Records, Hollow Earth drop one more new, unheard track off the album.

Hollow Earth Streaming New Track “The Reclamation”

Hollow Earth is now offering up “The Reclamation,” the opening track off new album, “Silent Graves.”

“The Reclamation” is streaming below, thanks to Decibel Magazine. As Decibel’s Shawn Macomber puts it: “If you’re looking for some doom-y metallic hardcore nastiness, rising Michigan badasses Hollow Earth are here to oblige.”

“Silent Graves” is due out November 11th on Panic Records, the label founded by Timm McIntosh of Seattle hardcore royalty Trial. The album was produced by Andy Nelson (Harm’s Way, Weekend Nachos) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Integrity, Nails).

Exalt Streaming Full “Pale Light” Album

Canada’s Exalt has unleashed a stream of tumultuous new album, “Pale Light,” which can be heard below (thanks to RevolverMag.com).

The record is due out on Tuesday, November 4th via New Damage Records and is currently available for pre-order at this location. This latest effort was produced by Andy Nelson and Pete Grossman (Veil of Maya, Fireworks).

Hollow Earth Releasing Debut Album “Silent Graves”

Panic Records, the label founded by Timm McInotsh of Seattle hardcore vets Trial, will release Hollow Earth’s debut “Silent Graves” this coming November 11th on vinyl, CD, and digital formats.

From Dearborn, Michigan, Hollow Earth was formed in 2011 by vocalist Steve Muczynski and guitarist Mike Moynihan, both ex-members of metallic hardcore outfit Shai Hulud. Mike Moynihan is also a current member of recent Century Media signees Enabler.

Hollow Earth’s debut full-length “Silent Graves” was recorded by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Recordings (Harm’s Way, Weekend Nachos) and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Integrity, Nails).
