Argonauta Fest 2017 Details Announced

Argonauta Records is thrilled to announce the 3rd edition of Argonautes Fest 2017, featuring eight bands from the label’s roster ranging from stoner rock to post metal and even sludgy doom.

The festival will take place May 13th at Officine Sonore in Vercelli, Italy. Full details on how you can party with all the Argonauta staff and its bands can be found here.

Argonauta Records Inks Deal With Three Eyes Left

Three Eyes Left is proud to announce that the band has signed a record deal with Argonauta Records. The label will release the next record under the flag of doom and the proud eye of Satan. The album will be recorded in the first half of 2017.

Three Eyes Left (TEL) is a heavy psych doom band from Bologna, Italy. The band started in 2004 and represent a breath of fresh air in the heavy psych-doom genre. After a demo and two EP’s, TEL published “La Danse Macabre” (2013) and “Asmodeus” (2015) via Go Down Records.

The track listing and the title of the new album are top secret as of now. Stay tuned for further information.

Black Rainbows Announces New Album “Hawkdope”

Heavy Psych Sounds Records today announces a new Black Rainbows album titled “Hawkdope,” to be released in the U.S. on March 17th, 2015. Distribution in the U.S. will be handled via Cobraside and All That’s Heavy (in Europe Clearspot, Good Fellas, Cargo and Shellshock).

“Hawkdope” was recorded last August at Heavy Psych Sounds studio and was produced by Gabriele Fiori. Fiori is also the band’s guitar player and vocalist as well as the man behind the label. He explains “Hawkdope is a perfect mix of Monster Magnet, Hawkwind and Fu Manchu — a psychedelic, lysergic storm of heavy space-rock containing nine brand new tracks.” The band also proudly cites Nebula, Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer and the MC5 as particular favorites and influences.

The band formed in 2005 and has six releases out now, including a four-way split featuring Naam, White Hills, Black Rainbows, and The Flying Eyes. See the band live on these dates:
