Gojira Announces Tour Dates With Pallbearer And Oni

Gojira just announced North American headline dates with special guests Pallbearer and Oni in support of the “Magma” album. This summer trek is set to get underway July 30th at the UC Theatre in Berkeley, CA.

Motionless In White Posts New Song “Rats”

Roadrunner recording group Motionless In White just premiered “Rats,” the latest track to be released from upcoming album “Graveyard Shift.” New track “Rats” follows Motionless In White’s previous single “Eternally Yours.”.

Motionless In White has also been announced as lead support on the second leg of In This Moment’s “Half God Half Devil” tour. The second leg of the summer trek is set to begin June 28th at St. Louis, MO’s The Pageant and continues through early August.

The band is further set to light up an array of festivals around the world, including Concord, NC’s Carolina Rebellion (Sunday, May 7th), Somerset, WI’s Northern Invasion (Sunday, May 14th), and Columbus, OH’s Rock on the Range (Friday, May 19th).

From there, the group will cross the Atlantic for a European tour highlighted by headline dates and festival performances including Luxembourg’s The A’s Mayhem (Sunday, June 4th), Donnington Park’s Download UK 2017 (Friday, June 9th), Lyon, FR’s LongLive RockFest (Tuesday, June 13th), Dessel, BE’s Graspop Metal Meeting (Friday, June 16th), Copenhagen, DK’s Copenhell (June 22nd-24th), Madrid, ES’s Download Madrid (June 22nd-24th), and Gräfenhainichen, DE’s With Full Force Festival (June 22nd-24th).

Abigail Williams Announces New Tour Dates With Today Is The Day

Abigail Williams just announced an autumn tour with Today Is The Day. Set to begin September 11th at Metro Bar in Salt Lake City, the tour will visit 30 cities before it concludes October 16th in San Francisco.

Vocalist/guitarist Sorceron recently noted, “after a year off from touring, we are looking forward to getting in the van again.”

Currently finishing up a run of headline dates, Abigail Williams has now completed work on a forthcoming new album, with a release date expected for announcement in the coming weeks.

Crimson Shadows Announces U.S. Shows With Nekrogoblikon

The 2013 International Wacken Battle champions from Crimson Shadows are currently forging through the frozen reaches of their homeland of Canada and will voyage onward into the USA to slay the west coast with Nekrogoblikon in August.

This is the band’s first U.S. tour since the release of Napalm Records debut “Kings Among Men” (reviewed here) in the fall of 2014.

The power/melodic death band from Toronto had this to say: “We are extremely excited to do our first American tour with our mates in Nekrogoblikon. With an alliance forged between Vikings and Goblins, this tour will be the most epic invasion the west coast has ever seen!”

Doyle (featuring ex-Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein) has announced the band’s next batch of headline dates with Heavygrinder offering support.

Abysmal Dawn Posts Second “Obsolesence” Studio Video

Los Angeles based extreme metal band Abysmal Dawn returns with a massive display of refined brutality on fourth full-length “Obsolescence,” due for release on October 28th in North America via Relapse Records.

Throughout the recording of “Obsolescence,” Abysmal Dawn shot a series of videos documenting the process. Today the second video in the series showcasing the guitars is available for viewing below, courtesy of Metal Injection.

In support of “Obsolescence,” Abysmal Dawn will be hitting the road with a handful of headline dates before joining up with Deicide. The headline shows start September 30th in Riverside, CA and go through October 5th in Nashville, TN. The tour with Deicide kicks off October 7th in West Springfield, VA and will run through October 28th in Dallas, TX.

The band has also announced a special listening party on September 28th at The Complex in Glendale, CA. This will be your chance to hear “Obsolescen”e in its entirety before anyone else. Lionize Reveals “Jetpack Soundtrack” Album Details

Lionize, the first independent artist to sign with Weathermaker Music (the label that has, up until now, served as the exclusive platform for Clutch and individual band member related side projects) has confirmed a February 18th, 2014 release date for new album “Jetpack Soundtrack.”

The album features 11 new tracks and was jointly produced by Clutch drummer Jean-Paul Gaster and Machine (Lamb of God, King Crimson) at the Machine Shop in Belleville, New Jersey.

Pre-orders are available here and the “Reality Check” single can be heard below. The band will be hitting the road in support of the new album beginning January 10th for a string of headline dates before joining up as direct support for Pepper. Full details are available below. True Widow Announces New European Tour Dates

Following a run of European shows in November and December with Kurt Vile, True Widow has now confirmed a brand new set of headline dates for April 2014.

The “stonegaze” Texan trio has already been announced to play at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg on April 10th, and this new update of shows will see the group hitting the U.K. and mainland Europe for three weeks around the festival.

True Widow commented: “The December tour was more about us getting out to see some new places with our buddy Kurt and his sonic death squad of Violators. The April tour is for our friends and fans!”
