Scythia Posts “Lineage” Playthrough Video

Canadian folklore metallers Scythia recently released newest full-length offering, “Lineage,” which can still be heard in full at this location.

Today the band also drops a playthrough video for the title track (available below). Scythia guitarist and vocalist Dave Khan states:

“We’re stoked to have our playthrough of ‘Lineage’ up with Gear Gods! We use some really unusual gear. I play a custom-made Warrior Black Knight with X2N active pick-ups into an ENGL raider 1 x 12, and AJ plays a Ibanez RG premium through a Blackstar HT Stage 100.”

Scythia is gearing up to perform at two more events this summer before heading out on a tour this fall (details coming soon).

Behemoth’s Nergal Wants Your Help To Screw The Cancer

Nergal from Polish black/death metal Behemoth has posted a video online in which he supports the initiative Screw The Cancer.

Behemoth will also be heading out on a North American tour alongside Myrkur this coming April and May, with full dates and details available at this location.

Mushroomhead Rejoined By Former Vocalist Jason Popson

Mushroomhead has been re-joined by former vocalist Jason Popson, who stated on a brief message online: “Old school, new school, this is the WHOLE school. Mushroomhead, buckle up kids, I’m back!”

Mushroomhead then confirmed the announcement by re-posting Popson’s comments and adding: “It’s Official ladies and gentlemen! Sincerely, The Filthy Hands Co.”

The Quill Releases “Freak Parade” Music Video

Swedish rockers The Quill have released a new music video for “Freak Parade,” which comes of the “Tiger Blood” album. Check it out below.

“Tiger Blood” is out now on Metalville Records. The Quill features former Hanoi Rocks/Firebird drummer Jolle Atlagic and former Spiritual Beggars/Arch Enemy bassist Roger Nilsson. The band will also be heading out for a European tour this coming November with Mammoth-Mammoth.
