Candiria Announces “Beyond Reasonable Doubt” 20th Anniversary Tour

Candiria will be hitting the road for a spate of headline dates commemorating 20-plus years of their critically acclaimed sophomore album, “Beyond Reasonable Doubt.”

The tour kicks off on April 20 in Long Island and will feature support from Cleric on most dates. The trek will take the band through the Northeast and the Midwest. It also includes an appearance at the annual New England Metal and Hardcore Fest. The band will also play two shows supporting Killswitch Engage. Additional dates will be added and all confirmed dates are below.

The band has crafted a special set list for the tour to celebrate the definitive “Beyond Reasonable Doubt” album. At the shows, Candiria will also be selling a special Collector’s Edition of “Beyond Reasonable Doubt.” This version is packed with memorabilia and imagery from the period in which the band was writing, recording, and supporting the album. It also boasts newly revised artwork, audio taken from the original 1997 masters, and a forward by original drummer Ken Schalk.

Additionally, vocalist Carley Coma has also launched a series of videos for the band’s latest album “While They Were Sleeping.” The series dives deep into the story behind the album’s concept. New videos for each track are revealed in sequence each week. The latest clip, for the eighth track on the album “The Whole World Will Burn,” can be seen here:

Within The Ruins To Part Ways With Frontman Tim Goergen – Replacement Announced

Within The Ruins part ways with vocalist Tim Goergen in the light of his “recent and ongoing health issues.” The split is described as amicable with Steve Tinnon (supposedly formerly of Silence The Messenger, etc.) planned to replace him. Within The Ruins will be playing two final shows with Goergen and issued the below statement on that matter:

“Hey everyone, Joe here with some news for you all. Within the Ruins and Tim have decided to part ways due to some recent and ongoing health issues. This is a tough one for all of us, and as saddened as we are to no longer have Tim with us, a new chapter begins. Tim will be passing the torch to our good friend Steve Tinnon and we are extremely excited for the future of this band. We’d like to invite you all to Tim‘s final two shows with us.

April 19th – Brooklyn, NY at Kingsland
April 21st- Worcester, MA at New England Metal and Hardcore Fest

Hello my friends, it is with an extremely heavy heart that I announce my departure from Within The Ruins. I want to be very clear that this split is mutual and I have nothing but love for my brothers and vise versa. I am at a point in my life that won’t allow me to tour anymore, and touring is a huge part of this band. It breaks my heart, but it is what it is. Over the last ten years I have had the absolute privilege/pleasure to tour the world and record 5 amazing releases with the most driven and talented musicians on the fucking planet.

These guys are more than just friends and bandmates, they are my brothers. Through ups and downs, lineup changes, a van flip that nearly killed us, and countless beers/good times we are bonded forever. These experiences, memories, and friends I’ve made along the way are things that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I ask that you all continue to support my guys just as you always have while I was in the band.

Thank you to our manager Scott Lee and Entertainment One / Goodfight for always having our backs and keeping our best interest in mind. Thank you to my friends, family, and my woman for supporting me while I lived out my dream. And of course I would like to thank our fans for their undying support and love. You guys kept me pushing forward the whole time.

I want to be clear that I am not done making music, so keep an eye out for projects from me in the future. I am excited for what lies ahead and am ready for this new chapter in my life.

Let’s get fucking crazy one more time!

– Steve Tinnon
I am very excited to announce that I am now singing for Within The Ruins! These guys have been great friends to me and my previous band for nearly a decade, and after two years of no longer touring or being in a band I’ve been given a second chance to do what I love again. I want to thank Tim for giving me his blessing on this moving forward. I’ve got big shoes to fill and I won’t let you down! I’m extremely honored to be part of a group of such talented musicians, and I can’t wait to start this next chapter of the band’s career. See you all soon!

Candiria debuts series of “While They Were Sleeping” album concept videos

– January 26th, 2018 –

Confirm New England Metal and Hardcore Fest appearance

Vocalist Carley Coma of Candiria has launched a new series of videos for the band’s latest album While They Were Sleeping. The series will go in depth into the story behind the concept of the album. The first video is for track #1, the title track, and is streaming on YouTube HERE. New videos for each track will be launched in sequence in the coming weeks.

Candiria will be headlining the Blacklight Media Records showcase in New York City on March 8th at the Gramercy Theatre. The band have put together a special set list for the night to celebrate over 20 years of their critically-acclaimed sophomore album Beyond Reasonable Doubt. Tickets are on sale now at HERE. The lineup also includes Gozu, Good Tiger, Mother Feather, ONI, and Eyes of the Sun.

Since their inception in 1992, Candiria has been lauded for their ability to mesh decidedly different styles in a seamless way. They were named one of the “10 Most Important Bands in Metal” by Rolling Stone back in 1999 for consistently releasing music that challenges listeners, thrills critics, and – most importantly – attracts a legion of dedicated, diehard fans. Their latest album, While They Were Sleeping, continues that legacy, with Pitchfork.com hailing the band as one of “the most convincingly flexible acts that metal and hardcore have ever seen“.
