Hades Almighty Recruits New Vocalist, Working On Album

Hades Almighty is back! The band comments about returning with a new front man:

“A lot has been festering in the Hades horde in the last year, and we are now finally able to reveal some details.

“First, we hereby present the mighty Ask Ty as our new musical orator and screamer of blood curling verses. Known as drummer and part time vocalist of bands like Kampfar and Krakow, Ask Ty brings fresh nutrients to the soil of the Horde. We have been working together for the last 6 months, and the harvest has been fruitful.

“Secondly, we hereby announce the first studio release since 2001’s ‘The Pulse of Decay.’ This will be an EP, titled ‘Pyre Era, Black!’ which will lead up to the next album released not long after. Both will be released through Dark Essence Records. Prepare for the Dawn of a New Era!”

Bombs Of Hades Streaming New Song "Burn" Online

Swedish deathcrust delinquents Bombs of Hades will unleash new full-length, “The Serpent’s Redemption” via Pulverised Records on September 17th, 2012. The follow-up to 2010’s “Chambers Of Abominations” was recorded and mixed at Welfare Sounds Studio (RAM, Bombus, etc) and offers up eight tracks of sonic wreckage as well as the unholy artwork of Polish illustrator Rafal Kruszyk (Interment, Hooded Menace, Machetazo, Cianide, Coffins etc.).

Check out the song “Burn” at the band’s official Facebook profile right here. The following press release was also issued about the band:

“Forged in 2002 by bassist Ander Ekman and vocalist/guitarist Jonas Stålhammar (ex-God Macabre, ex-Utumno, etc) as an excuse to get drunk and pay homage to the likes of Discharge, Anti Cimex, Dissober, Autopsy, Nihilist/Entombed, Carnage and Slayer, Bombs of Hades initially churned out gristly crustpunk before heading towards an oldschool Swedish death metal direction, always retaining a burly d-beat/crust vibe. The band issued their Carnivores EP through Blood Harvest Records in 2008 as a limited 7”. The EP harvested considerable underground buzz and sold out. Bombs of Hades went on to release the Chambers of Abominations full-length again through Blood Harvest as well as an assortment of split 7”s and 10”s. Now it’s time for The Serpent’s Redemption. Bring out your dead…”

The track listing is as follows:

Bombs Of Hades Signs Deal With Pulverised Records

Swedish deathcrust ensemble Bombs of Hades are the latest addition to the ever-pummeling Pulverised Records roster. A press releasing about the signing reads as follows:

“Spawned in 2002 as a crustpunk act, Bombs of Hades quickly mutated into a gristly old-school Swedish death metal direction, while still retaining a strong d-beat/crust vibe. Fronted by Jonas Stålhammar (ex-God Macabre, ex-Utumno, etc), who recently served briefly with legendary Swedish thrashers The Crown, the band is now geared up for their second full-length, entitled A Serpent’s Redemption. The follow-up to 2010’s Chambers Of Abominations, released via Blood Harvest Records, is expected to drop sometime next year.”

Commented Stålhammar: “Bombs of Hades is psyched to have the next album released through Pulverised. A Serpent’s Redemption will satisfy souls starved for some true old-school death metal and will be unleashed before the Summer of 2012.”

Added Pulverised Records A&R Manager Calvin Chiang: “Bombs of Hades is one band that have been on our radar for some time now. We finally thought it was time to seize the opportunity to grab them for a brand new record. To further confirm that our gut feeling was correct, our good old friend Ayong (founder of Pulverised Records) coincidentally recommended the band and strongly insisted we get Bombs of Hades on our roster by hook or by crook! Expect full-blown death metal abomination!”
