Cattle Decapitation Premieres European Tour Documentary

Cattle Decapitation has shared a new documentary filmed during the band’s European touring this past summer. Guitarist Josh Elmore had the following to say of it:

“For several years now, fans have been asking the band to release a video chronicle with live performance footage and enhanced or ‘behind the scenes’ documentation. During a recent European run, our friend Paul McGuire of Obscenery Films traveled with the band and captured glimpses of what day-to-day life on the road is like for Cattle Decapitation and spoke with the members as they reflected on years of touring and what their future holds. The result is an entertaining, humorous and informative documentary that shows the band as a live entity and also what goes on during their down time on tour; play-throughs, interviews, concert chaos, Euro-tourism and more. We hope you enjoy it!”

The band is currently out on the road now on a North American tour with Revocation, Full Of Hell and more:

Guitarist Josh “The J” Key comments: “This song answers the question, ‘Can you make something cute BRUTAL?’ We just did this for fun. We have a recording studio, we had inspiration, so why not? Those dogs are the best… this is our tribute to them.”

Evergreen Terrace Announces Florida Tour Dates

Evergreen Terrace has recently announced that the band will be playing a string of dates across Florida with several other Florida-based acts in tow. Florida is passed over by a lot of tours, so the band decided to play shows specifically for home state fans. Guitarist Josh James explains further:

“It’s strange to think that even though we tour 9 months out of the year we rarely get to play Florida. This state has a great scene, amazing bands and mostly importantly it’s our home. In early December we will head out for a weekend trip with our friends Casey Jones and Boys No Good to explore some of these scenes and to catch some great local bands. Later in the month we will be participating in Jack Rabbit’s infamous 12 Days of Christmas event in Jacksonville. It’s been almost a year since we’ve played our hometown. The show has an amazing lineup featuring Kids Like Us, His Name Was Iron, a rad band from Tallahassee called Livid and a new local Jacksonville band called Atlas. Remember, the best way to support your scene is by attending local shows and supporting not only touring bands but local ones as well. We look forward to seeing old and new faces at these shows and closing out 2011 in a memorable way.”

The band’s upcoming tour dates are as follows:

12/8 – Tallahassee, FL @ The Engine Room
12/9 – Tampa, FL @ Transitions
12/10 – Cocoa, FL @ The 321 Local
12/11 – Lake Worth, FL @ The Speak Easy
12/30 – Jacksonville, FL @ Jack Rabbits
