Anarcheon Announces Canadian Tour Dates

Formed in 2015, Anarcheon has been stealing the hearts and souls of fans in the Vancouver area and beyond. A powerhouse of shemonic screams, catchy riffs, and energetic heavy bass leads, the quartet will be embarking on a Western Canadian tour that will kick off in Vancouver, BC on August 24th and wrap up in Prince George, BC on September 2nd.

The trek will also include a show date in Kamloops on August 26th supporting Montreal’s internationally renowned extreme group The Agonist (Napalm Records). Anarcheon vocalist Kaija Kinney comments:

“We’re looking forward to connecting with audiences on this tour, we like to bring great energy, get everyone involved in the pit and atmosphere. We got new music to play off our upcoming EP and album that we can’t wait to perform live!”

Anarcheon is touring in support of an upcoming debut EP set for release in October, which the band will follow with a full album currently being recorded.

Emmure Announces “Look At Yourself” Chart Positions

Hailed by numerous critics as the group’s best work to date, the new record from metalcore heavyweights Emmure, “Look At Yourself,” has debuted with strong first week sales.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Eternal Enemies” moved over 7,400 units (outperforming the previous record’s first week by nearly 1,000 copies). The new album lands at #2 on the Billboard Hard Music chart and #3 on the Rock Music chart.

The band has toured aggressively for the last month supporting this record, and will conclude a North American run with After The Burial next week at So What Music Festival on March 25th. Catch the band live:

3Teeth Supporting Tool And Primus On U.S. Tour Dates

West Coast industrial rock foursome 3Teeth, hand selected by Tool to open its January U.S. arena tour, will begin a three-plus week trek tonight in San Francisco.

“We feel so very honored to have been picked by Tool to hit the road; we’re ready to bleed for these crowds,” commented vocalist Alexis Mincolla. “Make sure you come early.”

“We are extremely excited and proud to have 3Teeth join us on the road,” said Tool guitarist Adam Jones. “Combining the styles of Tool and 3Teeth at a live show will result in a naturally induced chemical overload of sonic and visual horripilation. Edmonton, AB’s brutal horror outfit Bleed has teamed up with Bravewords.com to premiere the track “Committed” – the first single from debut full length “The Hatred Inside.” Check it out at this location.

Oceano Streaming Full “Ascendants” Album For Non-U.S. Fans

Chicago’s deathcore titans from Oceano have teamed up with French music streaming service Deezer for an exclusive worldwide (excluding USA) pre-stream of new album “Ascendants” a week before the album’s official launch.

If you live anywhere but the United States, stream all of “Ascendants” in its entirety at this location. If you live in the U.S. and are an Oceano fan, well, guess you’re shit out of luck.

“Ascendants” is due to be officially released on Monday, March 23rd in Europe and a day later in the USA. The album was recorded at The Nook studio in New Lenox, Illinois with producer Nick Nativo. The artwork was created by Dusty Peterson.

Capsize just kicked off a West Coast headline tour, with support from To The Wind and Exalt. This Spring, Capsize will head out on a full U.S. tour supporting Defeater and Counterparts with Equal Vision Records labelmates Better Off, and with additional support from Hotel Books.
