Cavalera Conspiracy Announces New Album “Psychosis”

Cavalera Conspiracy – led by brothers and founding Sepultura members Max and Iggor Cavalera –
today unveiled first details about the release of a fourth studio album, to be titled “Psychosis.” The upcoming record is set for release on November 17th, 2017 via Napalm Records and was produced by longtime friend Arthur Rizk in Phoenix, Arizona.

Max Cavalera commented in a recent interview with Metal Wani: “The album right now is finished. It was produced by Arthur Rizk, our friend and a great producer – an upcoming, underground producer. And he did a great job. I love the record. There are nine songs. We’ve got one song with Justin from Godflesh – just a great Nailbomb, Godflesh, Cavalera kind of song.

“The rest is all pure thrash madness. And we had it mastered a couple of days ago by Joel Grind from Toxic Holocaust; he mastered the album. And it’s great, man. It’s a beast of an album. I think a lot of people are are gonna be surprised when they hear it. It’s, for me, the best of all the CAVALERA albums, my favorite one. And it’s got the same intensity and energy of the old stuff like ‘Beneath The Remains’ and ‘Arise’. So a lot of people are gonna be happy to hear that.”

The Amenta Announces New Releases "VO1D/Choke Hold" And "Flesh Is Heir"

The Amenta is proud to announce the release of “V01D/CHOKE HOLD” through Listenable Records. Combining the full 16 track digital release “V01D,” with the title track and cover of Godflesh’s “Christbait Rising” from the “Chokehold” E. (released in 2012 on Itunes by Listenable Records), this is the first physical release of all these recordings.

Both were released as placeholders before the 2013 release of the new album by The Amenta, “Flesh is Heir,” and show two completely different sides of the band. Listenable comments:

“V01D is an epic, melodic hymn which is worlds away from the angular dissonance of previous The Amenta releases. It leaves your so-called black metal for dead. Choke Hold is a dirty, violent re-imagining of Godflesh’s sound circa Streetcleaner. The lyrics are a blues because repetition is the only way through your skull.

“V01D/CHOKE HOLD will be available exclusively from The Amenta on the upcoming European tour with Obituary, Macabre and Psycroptic as well as from the Listenable Records store here. This is an extremely limited pressing. The Amenta will release their new album on March 25th.”
