Beast In Black Posts New Music Video “Sweet True Lies” Online

Up and coming metallers Beast In Black are currently travelling from arena to arena as special guest to Finnish symphonic metal giants Nightwish. While being on the road all across Europe, the band is happy to finally unleash the first musical taster of their sophomore album entitled ‘From Hell With Love’, which will see the light of day on February 8, 2019 via Nuclear Blast Records. The supporting music video, once again directed by Ville Lipiäinen, can be watched below!

Comments bassist Mate Molnar, “After the huge success of ‘Blind And Frozen’, we wanted to come out with something more interesting and original as the second official music video of the band. I believe ‘Sweet True Lies’ is loveable but also shocking at the same time and I’m sure it will move the hearts of our fans!”

“From Hell With Love” – Track Listing:

01. Cry Out For A Hero
02. From Hell With Love
03. Sweet True Lies
04.Repentless
05. Die By The Blade
06. Oceandeep
07. Unlimited Sin

10. Heart Of Steel
11. No Surrender
Bonus Tracks (DIGI and 2LP only!)
12. Killed By Death (Motorhead Cover)
13. No Easy Way Out (Robert Tepper Cover)

The album was once again recorded in Anton’s own Sound Request Studio, and true to the motto “Never change a winning team”, the cover artwork was created by Roman Ismailov who worked on »Berserker« as well as the first record Kabanen wrote under the banner of Battle Beast, ‘Steel’ (2012). ‘From Hell With Love’ delivers everything that made fans love Anton’s work in the first place. A slew of fast-paced tracks like the opener ‘Cry Out For A Hero’ and ‘Repentless’, hymnic songs ‘Unlimited Sin’ and ‘This Is War’ and one of the band’s specialties, mid-tempo smashers that only Beast In Black can deliver are back and represented on the new disc by the lead single ‘Sweet True Lies’ and the album’s title track. There’s one thing that all of these tracks have in common – each and every song catches the listener with irresistible melodies, taking residence in the listener’s mind from the moment they hear it.

At its purest, there is little that can match the visceral thrill and empowering spirit of hardcore. As front-man of New York City hardcore kings Cro-Mags, this is something John Joseph knows very well, and with Up In Arms, he and his Bloodclot compatriots deliver a furious collection that hits hard on every level. From the moment the opening title track explodes to life, it’s clear that everyone involved is having a blast and playing from the heart, and that this is no frills / no bullshit music at its most passionate. “In this band we’re doing what each of us have always done: give it our all,” John Joseph states plainly. “We work hard, and we have a lot to say. Look around the planet – people are fed up with the corrupt ruling class. They destroy the planet and kill millions for profit, and the formula for our response is simple: Anger + applied knowledge = results. Don’t just bitch. Change it.”

Deny The Cross Posts “Bacteria Tribute” Video

“Alpha Ghoul” is the debut full-length from powerviolence alliance Deny The Cross, captured by Greg Wilkinson (Pallbearer, Vastum) at Earhammer Studios with drums recorded by Chris Pierce (Rorschach, Night Birds). Cover artwork was handled by Mark McCoy of Charles Bronson.

In celebration of its release, today Deny The Cross thrusts forth an official lyric video for “Bacteria Tribute.” The fifty-eight-second bruiser is an ode to iconic graphic artist Pushead (Metallica, Misfits, The Exploited, Prong, Septic Death, Integrity et al).

Issues vocalist Carlos Ramirez: “Growing up in the ’80s, obsessed with metal and hardcore, and also skateboarding, Pushead’s artwork was unavoidable. There was something about his style that moved me from the moment I first came across it. I had the chance to meet Pushead in 1989 at an exhibit of his work at a place called Psychedelic Solution in New York City and he was really humble. You can see Pushead’s influence today in the work of artists like John Dyer Baizley and Florian Bertmer.”

In Twilight’s Embrace Covers Armia Track

Polish death metal band In Twilight’s Embrace has paid homage to the visionary punk band Armia, releasing a video for a cover of the track “Opowiesc Zimowa” (“Winter’s Tale”). This interpretation of the song will also be included on upcoming EP “Trembling.”

Cyprian Lakomy (vocals) comments: “’Legenda’, the second album of Armia is in my opinion not only the most unique landmark of Polish music, but also one of those records which stick to you for a lifetime. Right from the moment I heard it as a teenager, I was totally blown away by the utter darkness these songs channeled and the unconquered spirit they possessed.

“The whole opus has this grim, dark and cold feeling which perfectly corresponds with the Polish reality of the early 90s with its fear and trembling. At the same time, there is a deep yearning for the worlds far beyond this place. In this respect, I find the band’s founders Tomasz Budzynski and Robert Brylewski a perfect songwriting duo with the gift of creating new realms through sound.

“‘Opowiesc Zimowa’ is perhaps one of their strongest songs – full of horror and weird kind of beauty at the same time. Covering it has been on my mind for years and I couldn’t be happier that we have finally done this. This is our homage not only to Armia, but to Polish music in general and the otherworldly power it was able to conjure back in the day.”

White Empress Cancels Two Tour Dates

After announcing that session drummer Jon Siren would be stepping in for Zac Morris, White Empress has now issued the following update about cancelling two upcoming tour dates:

“As you guys know we had a last minute emergency due to our drummer being unable to perform with us this tour run. On Monday drummer Jon Siren flew out from LA to learn the music and to learn the set. We have been rehearsing non stop with Jon from the moment he landed and he is coming along incredibly fast he is a Kick ass amazing drummer.

“However, we have only had a few short days to work with him on material he hadn’t even heard before. Because we believe in giving you guys the best performance possible we have made the difficult decision to cancel our performances in both Appleton & Milwaukee.

“This was an extremely tough call for us but we were handed a situation and we are trying to make the most of it. The bottom line is we need more rehearsal time with our stand in drummer in order to get things up to the level we need them to be.

“We WILL be attending tonite’s Meet & Greet at PhatHeadz in Green Bay as well as performing at the 10/30 show at the Cabooze and 10.31 &11.1 at The Frequency. We want to sincerely apologize to anyone who will be missing us as a result but we assure you the remaining show dates will be KILLER!

“HUGE thank you time everyone who setup the Appleton and Milwaukee shows especially Jennifer Lecesse and Taylor Dahlen. From Light Rose The Angels will still be appearing on the shows in Appleton and Milwaukee please go catch them and enjoy a killer show! Thank you all we will see you tonite at the Meet & Greet.”
