New Album “No Compromises” Announced By Dreamer’s Crime, New Single/Video Clip Available

Dreamers Crime announced that the band is set to release the brand new album “No Compromises” on Friday November 17 – an album created and crafted by the Sydney band along with Stevie Knight and Dave Petrovic at Electric Sun Studios (Tonight Alive, The Dead Love, Thy Art is Murder, Northlane). This is the debut album and it hits hard and pulls no punches.

“No Compromises” will be available for pre-order this Friday October 13 and punters will receive new single “Here We Are” – the new single and the second cut from the record. Today, the band is also releasing a filmclip for the track to celebrate the announcement, so check it out at the bottom.

Pete Repousis, frontman for the Sydney outfit, said that “Sometimes to get to where you wanna go, you have to say – f*#k what others have to say and just go for it. People sometimes over-compromise and end up the person they don’t want to be or in a place they never wanted to be in. Sometimes, for the sake of your beliefs and your dreams, you have to say no. That is where the album name ‘No Compromises’ came from. We didn’t want to compromise on this record and neither should our fans have to accept any less from us.”

Simon Kapsis, guitarist for Dreamers Crime says that “2018 is set to be a big year and releasing the album is just the beginning. The band wants to go anywhere and everywhere after the release of their album at the end of 2017, and the rest is yet to come.”

Prong To Play Metal Insider Rocks Off Concert Cruise In New York

The band founded on New York’s Lower East Side is finally making its triumphant return home. Prong will be returning to New York City as part of the Metal Insider Rocks Off Concert Cruise aboard the Star of Palm Beach. This special show will take place on Friday October 19th and is an official CMJ Show.

Support on the bill will come from This or the Apocalypse, For Sleeping or Jumping and Eminence. Tickets for the show are on sale now and are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. The cruise departs from Pier 40, located at West Houston St. at West Side Highway. Prong frontman Tommy Victor commented on the band’s homecoming:

“Prong has not played NYC since the release of our latest album Carved Into Stone. Actually, we haven’t done a gig anywhere in the five boroughs in a very long time. So I’m happy to announce our return home as we board the Rocks Off Cruise on Oct 19th for the Metal Insider Party at CMJ. The boat rolls out of New York Harbor and from what I hear it’ll be circling the Statue of Liberty while we’re on stage. What a great way to celebrate our return!”

Full details are available through Metal Insider here. Prong’s video for “Revenge…Best Served Cold” can also be viewed over at this location.

Battlelore Taking An Indefinite Break From Live Shows And Releasing New Material

Finland’s Battlelore has issued the following announcement about going on an indefinite break:

“Battlelore played its last foreign show for the time being in Belgium, at Metal Female Voices Festival IX, on Friday October 21st 2011. After that the band is going on an indefinite break from touring and making music.

“This is not the end, however, just a time-out to focus on other aspects of life and build up more creative energy for the future. The plan is to play one more show in Finland before the break to thank the Finnish fans for their support over the years. The details of the last show are not confirmed yet but will be announced as soon as the information comes.

“There’s no drama behind the decision to go on break, just a need to take a step back and have a breather. We want to thank all of our associates and supporters for the help and work over the past nearly 12 years, we’ve been lucky to have met and worked with such wonderful people! The biggest thanks definitely go to our amazing fans, without whom none of this would’ve been possible. We are honoured to have met you all and are humbled by your generosity and support! You all have a place in our hearts and we will always cherish the amazing moments we’ve shared with you on and off stage. THANK YOU!

“‘Elen síla lúmenn’ omentielvo.’ (A star shines on the hour of our meeting.)”
