Devil’s Emissary Releasing New EP “Demiurge Asceticism”

Two years after the release of the band’s sophomore album, Devil’s Emissary returns with a new mini-album entitled “Demiurge Asceticism.” Pre-orders are now available and the EP will be released on the 9th of September, 2017 via Third Eye Temple.

To get a foretaste of the release, stream the track “Black Hole Meditation” below. The following press release was also issued:

“‘Demiurge Asceticism’ contains nearly 20 minutes of lunatic incantations, divided into three anthems praising the Harvester of Worlds – the great Swallower of Suns. A black metal of death, shrouded in the left hand path philosophy, is now carried on the banners of this ambitious Polish horde.

“The black metal formula, well-known from the two previous releases, has transfigurated into a death metal hybrid, but still honouring respect to the band’s roots. Low-tuned vibrations are raising the chants from the ancient tombs of this Emissary trio coming from the south of Poland. The Message of the slow-stepping Demiurge resounds with echoes of Australian, Greek and Canadian death metal roots.

“It is the manifest of heaven’s violent death – the will of those below as foretold in the Horizon Temple. Open to the pilgrims of fire. Become everything and nothing.”

The whole visual presentation was crafted by Babalon Graphics, with the cover artwork available below after a stream of new single “Black Wings Up High.” The following press release was alos issued:

“The Riddle of Steel has been solved. The mountain’s call answered, the earth conquered and spent. Now, the stars beckon – celestial gateways unlocked through ancient sepulchers, divine bloodlines, and the undying fires of spiritual rebirth.

“Without regard for convention, this ethereal journey is set to unorthodox tones of grandiose heavy metal. Flowing from the deepest black abyss, through brooding melancholy and into the proud glory of the rising sun, this voyage is as bold as it is divergent.

“Join our hero on a perilous quest for the eternal truth beyond the shrouds of mortality, where time and space hold no ground and the misty veil between life and afterlife is a mere illusion. Sacrifice reason and ascend – enter the Black Tower.”

Kratornas Posts “Devoured By Damnation” Preview

Before the new Kratornas album “Devoured By Damnation” is unleashed on December 8th via Grathila Records, today an album preview has come online featuring snippets from the release. Check it out below. The following press release was also issued about the band:

“Bursting out of the metal underground with a third-world fury not seen since the mighty Sepultura unleashed their seminal ‘Beneath ‘The Remains’, Kratornas are set to make a devastating onslaught on the world of metal.

“If any band has ever earned its chance it is Kratornas , the brainchild of a certain Zachariah. He began Kratornas in the early 90’s despite dealing with problems many Western bands never encounter like crime, corruption, poverty, lack of equipment, or even an outlet to buy records! Truly we can see why Kratornas are inspired by real-life horrors. Zachariah’s love of metal was born from tape-trading. To put Zachariah’s glacial patience in perspective, after many primitive demos, Kratornas’ debut album was finally released in 2007! In 2011, Zachariah left the Philippines to seek a place more friendly to his art, finally settling in Canada.

“Kratornas’ new album, ‘Devoured By Damnation’ is the first that was properly recorded. The music is inspired by ‘Bathory, Deicide, Sadus, Terrorizer and Vader’ and will ‘treat listeners like punching bags!’, it’s sound being ‘raw, primitive, deranged, high octane, fast, a combination of grindcore, raw black metal, death metal punch and thrash metal riffs.”

1. Spit On God (4:44)
2. Dead Burning Christ (3:10)
3. Archangels of Destruction (2:25)
4. Deluge – After Massacre (2:37)
5. Blood of The Devil (3:14)
6. Evil Is Reborn (5:51)
7. Devoured By Damnation (4:49)
