Pathogenic Virulence Debut New Single “Putrid Gasp Proliferation”

London based brutal death metal band, Pathogenic Virulence just released their first single, Putrid Gasp Proliferation. The track is an exclusive Slam Worldwide release and it will be included on the bands first album which will come out next year.

Formed in 2016 by Radu Vulpe (ex-Necrovile, Decease, Tableau Mort) and Dragos Ionel (Innergrave). The band is currently in the studio recording their first album which is nearly close to completion.

Obscura Posts Third Making Of “Diluvium” Video Online

German progressive death metal band Obscura has posted the third episode in their series of videos online chronicling the making of their most recent studio album,”Diluvium.” You can check it out below. The album was released last month through Relapse Records and was produced by Triptykon/Dark Fortress guitarist V. Santura in the group’s hometown of Landshut. It is also their first album to feature guitarist Rafael Trujillo, who joined in 2015.

Dream Theater Posts New Studio Video Online Showing New Album Guitar Tracking

American progressive metal legends Dream Theater has posted a new video online, the latest in their series chronicling the recording of their as yet untitled fourteenth studio album. This time, John Petrucci gives fans a behind the scenes look at the guitar tracking. You can check it out below. This will be the band’s first album for Sony Music’s progressive imprint InsideOutMusic, with whom they signed with last year.

Corrosion Of Conformity Premieres New Music Video, “The Luddite”

American metal veterans Corrosion of Conformity has posted a new music video online the track, “The Luddite.” You can check it out below. The song comes from the band’s new studio album, “No Cross No Crown,” which is released today through Nuclear Blast Records and is the group’s first album with vocalist Pepper Keenan since 2005’s, “In The Arms Of God.”

Sigh Reveals New Album Title, Shoots New Music Video

Japanese extreme metal veterans Sigh has posted a short update online, in which revealed the name of their forthcoming new album. The message reads as follows:

“Time files but we promise that our new album ‘Heir to Despair’ will be coming out some time in 2018. The recording process should be done very soon and we have already shot the video for one of the songs.”

This will be Sigh’s first album since the critically acclaimed, “Graveward” (see review here) in 2015.

Born in Torino during the past decade and formed by Vincenzo Circosta – vocals, Dario Chiadini – guitars, Marco Miglietti – bass guitars, Luciano Cotta – drums, Origod released their first album in 2010, that received much praise by the underground community thanks to its unique blend of sonorities like Mastodon and Isis meets At The Drive In.

The band is currently working on the final touch of their new album “Solitude in Time and Space”, that marks an important evolution of their sound, now full of groove and melody for a stunning post-core assault. Origod “Solitude from Time and Space” will be released on CD/DD by Argonauta Records and available by early 2018.

Glass Mind Posts “Detritus” Band Playthrough

Glass Mind is an instrumental progressive metal band hailing from Mexico that released first album “Haunted Regrets” back in 2011. Since then the band has had the opportunity to perform live in locations as diverse as the U.S. to Japan.

The band now releases a first album trailer and in this clip singer Maja Shining explains the main idea behind the band’s debut album. “Tied Down” is a wild journey of an individual struggling with depression and worthlessness, before a spark of hope appears on the horizon – and recovery slowly starts setting in.
