Wage War premiere their new song “Low” via the below streaming music video.

Comments the band’s guitarist/vocalist Cody Quistad of it:

“Lyrically, the song is centered around experiences with depression and anxiety. I think it’s a conversation that is finally being brought to light and deserves to be so. I’ve always found solace in listening to dark songs that find me exactly where I’m at. There’s something comforting about knowing that someone has been through exactly what you’re feeling, and hopefully that’s what ‘Low‘ is for someone.”

Vastator Posts Promo Video For Album

Chilean old school thrash band Vastator has posted a new promo for it’s album “Machine Hell.” The album was recorded beginning in 2010 and is finally being released via Inferno Records. The following video is for the track “X-Terminate,” which was filmed by Abysmo Productions. Tracks from “Machine Hell” have been streaming on MySpace. Vocalist Sr. Diaz says this marks a new chapter for the band in terms of look and sound.

Details Revealed For New Mikael Akerfeldt / Steven Wilson Project Storm Corrosion

Opeth has checked in with the following announcement about the previously hinted collobarative project between front man Mikael Akerfeldt and Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree:

“The long awaited collaboration between Mikael Akerfeldt and Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) is finally being completed. The project goes under the name of ‘Storm Corrosion’ and will have a self-titled record out in April 2012 through a yet unnamed label.

“This album could be seen as the final part in the odd trilogy of records completed by “Heritage” and Steven Wilson’s brand new solo album “Grace for Drowning”. Read more on Steve Wilson’s latest venture at this location.”

Age Of Woe Announces 7" EP Release

Sweden’s Age of Woe has checked in with the following update about the release of a 7″ EP:

“Good news people. The 7” EP is finally here and an official release date has been set for September 29th. We are very excided about finally being able to spread our music. The easiest way to order it is to get in touch with any of the labels involved since we won’t be taking orders via our website.

“In November this EP will be available online as a digitital EP through Pivotal Rockordings.The digital release will also include an extra song called ‘The Antagonist.’
