Trivium Taps Alex Bent (Dragonlord, ex-Battlecross, etc.) As New Drummer & Shares Audition Video

Trivium has officially confirmed that the band has tapped drummer Alex Bent (Dragonlord, ex-Battlecross, etc.) for the upcoming European/UK tour. Rumors of Bent being recruited by the band first emerged a few weeks back.

Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto tweeted Bent‘s yesterday: “So as to who is playing for us in the UK/EU… Alex sent us this video two days after being put in touch with him. We also had a few weeks of rehearsal together in November.”

Eight Sins Releases “Ten Years” Music Video

Following the “Vultures” lyric video released a few weeks back, French outfit Eight Sins just premiered a brand new official music video for “Ten Years.”

This new clip, available below, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the band and will be featured on upcoming album “Serpents,” due out on CD and digital formats on November 21st, 2016.

Knight Of Tears Releases Debut, Self-Titled EP

American metal band Knight of Tears has released a debut, self-titled EP consisting of five tracks. The release was recorded and mixed in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho at Quad Rocker Records by engineer Tom Hall, and mastered by John Cuniberti.

Knight of Tears formed in the summer of 2014 when Colin Burgeson and Seamus Gleason began playing original music together. Lead vocalist Scott Omeara joined in October and bassist Dave Swiecki joined a few weeks after. You can grab the EP at iTunes here.
