Textures Announces European Tour Dates

The Dutch polyrhythmic metal maniacs from Textures released the first part of a diptych, “Phenotype,” last year through Nuclear Blast. The second record of the diptych, “Genotype,” is currently in progress.

In April, the band will embark on another touring trek in support of “Phenotype.” Support on select dates will come from progressive groove metallers Extremities, UK-based group Exist Immortal, and melodic hardcore band Athena’s Word.

Textures had this to say: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be heading out on the ‘Within The Horizon Tour’ coming spring. It’s been a while since we played our last show and we can’t wait to get out there once more. Besides the pleasure of playing on our home soil, we’ll also be entering France, Italy and Switzerland. Tradjectory Parts Ways With Drummer Harrison White

U.K. band Tradjectory has posted the following announcement online about parting ways with the band’s drummer:

“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce another departure from the Tradjectory family. Over the past 6 months Harrison White has been playing drums for us, writing with us, and overall hanging with us.

“Today we’re sad to announce that he’s decided to leave us, due to issue’s beyond our control and beyond his. It’s been a pleasure playing with a drummer the caliber of Harrison and will be incredibly hard to replace him.

“Our forthcoming opening show in Guildford will see Ferg (our ex drummer now of Exist Immortal) return to the drums for one show only.

“We’ll be releasing our debut single sooner than expected now and releasing an audition pack (Airgead) for drummers to audition too, after this next show we’ll be taking a break going into writing for a new record.

“Stay tuned for more news. We thank you for your continued support guys, we love you all and hope to see you soon.”
