New Track "Rome Is Falling" Streaming From Civil War

Civil War, the band comprised of ex-Sabaton members Rikard Sundén (guitars), Oskar Montelius (guitars), Daniel Mullback (drums) and Daniel Mÿhr (keyboards) along with vocalist Nils Patrik Johansson (Astral Doors/Wuthering Heights) and bassist Stefan “Pizza” Eriksson (Volturyon/Ex-Cryonic Temple), is streaming the new track “Rome is Falling.” The song is the first single from the band’s forthcoming debut EP, which is due out soon. The track is also available as a free download through the “Pledge the Music” widget below (free with signup).

Civil War Posts First Videoblog Report, Samples From Debut LP

Civil War, featuring ex-Sabaton members Rikard Sundén (guitars), Oskar Montelius (guitars), Daniel Mullback (drums) and Daniel Mÿhr (keyboards) along with vocalist Nils Patrik Johansson (Astral Doors/Wuthering Heights) and bassist Stefan “Pizza” Eriksson (Volturyon/Ex-Cryonic Temple), posted the band’s first videoblog report. The video shows studio footage and samples from the band’s upcoming debut EP.

Ex-Sabaton Members Unleash Civil War; Recruit Singer Nils Patrik Johansson

Ex-Sabaton members Rikard Sundén (guitars), Oskar Montelius (guitars), Daniel Mullback (drums) and Daniel Mÿhr (keyboards) have teamed up with vocalist Nils Patrik Johansson (Astral Doors/Wuthering Heights) and bassist Stefan “Pizza” Eriksson (Volturyon/Ex-Cryonic Temple) to form the band Civil War.

The band is currently writing songs for a debut EP targeted for the fall of 2012 followed up by a full length debut in 2013.

Katatonia Posts New Album Studio Clip With Per "Sodomizer" Eriksson

Sweden’s Katatonia has uploaded a new video clip from the group’s time in the studio working on a new full-length album and follow-up to “Night is the New Day” (reviewed here).

Katatonia Video Interview Available Online

Horns Up Rocks has posted a video interview online with Anders “Blakkheim” Nyström and Per “Sodomizer” Eriksson from Sweden’s Katatonia, which can be viewed below. Katatonia will also be re-issuing the “For Funerals to Come” album on vinyl on November 8th, 2011 with a CD edition release to come down the line.
