Brain Tentacles Announces April U.S. Tour Dates

Multi-state avant-garde/jazz/metal trio Brain Tentacles recently confirmed a short run of live dates next month. Slated to roll from April 12th through April 16th, the trek includes a stop at this year’s Berserker Fest alongside the likes of Gwar, Eyehategod, Weedeater, and labelmates The Obsessed.

True Widow Posts Full “Avvolgere” Album

True Widow today streams new album, “Avvolgere,” as it sees official release via Relapse Records. Listen in below.

The band recorded “Avvolgere,” which Brooklyn Vegan recently described as having “the somber vocals and atmosphere of shoegaze but the weight and darkness of doom,” with Matt Pence, who also recorded 2013 release, “Circumambulation.”

True Widow kicks off a first round of U.S. tour dates in support of “Avvolgere” on October 13th in Phoenix, Arizona.

Earthless Announces U.S. Headlining Tour Dates

True Widow today releases new song “O.O.T.P.V” in the player below. “O.O.T.P.V” is the third song the band has shared from forthcoming album, “Avvolgere” (due out Sept. 23 via Relapse Records).

Eternal Sleep Posts “Flesh/Blood” Music Video

The brand new “Flesh/Blood” video from Pittsburgh-based death metal/hardcore act Eternal Sleep is now online, advancing the looming release of debut LP “The Emptiness Of…” The album is due out via Closed Casket Activities on May 20th, 2016.

“The Emptiness Of…” delivers ten songs spanning a wide array of metallic hardcore and grungy meta recorded at Bricktop Studio with Andy Nelson (Harm’s Way, Weekend Nachos, Dead In The Dirt) and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Nails, Obituary, Integrity).

Eternal Sleep will also join Nails, Full Of Hell, and God’s Hate on tour in June with shows in Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Richmond confirmed. Later in the Summer, Eternal Sleep will play This Is Hardcore in Philadelphia, confirmed to share the stage with Integrity, Ringworm, Nails, Full Of Hell, and more on Friday, August 5th.

Wolves In The Throne Room Re-Issuing “Diadem Of 12 Stars”

Pacific Northwest black metal clan Wolves In The Throne Room will proudly re-release 2006’s debut album “Diadem Of 12 Stars” through the band’s own Artemisia Records in mid-June. This release will precede the band’s first East Coast North American dates in five years.

Written almost exclusively in a windowless, black room over the long dark nights of winter 2005, “Diadem Of 12 Stars” was the first official Wolves In The Throne Room release. Re-imagining black metal as an ode to rain storms, wood smoke and the wild energies of the Pacific Northwest, WITTR created a unique melancholic atmosphere.

The “Diadem Of 12 Stars| reissue will be released June 17th on CD, 2xLP, cassette, and all digital formats. Pre-orders are live right here. See the band live on these dates:

Withered Announces U.S. Tour Dates With Inter Arma

Atlanta’s Withered has announced a U.S. tour beginning July 5th and travelling across the country alongside Inter Arma. A full list of confirmed tour dates can be found below.

Regarding the tour, guitarist/vocalist Mike Thompson comments: “Everything we do is just to enable us to perform live as much as possible. Since we haven’t toured much in the last few years, we have a lot of pent up energy that’s ready to be released. I couldn’t be happier that we’re sharing the experience with our old friends from Inter Arma.”
