Northlane Premieres New Song & Music Video “Citizen” From Upcoming New Album

Northlane premieres a new song and music video entitled “Citizen”. A new album from the band is tentatively scheduled for a May/June release date with more details to come.

Check out now “Citizen” below.

Says guitarist Josh Smith of the song:

“‘Citizen’ is a song that was written about the First World police state and our willingness to live under the watch of those in power, for their means, while those who blow the lid on it suffer. Writing this one was quite a mission, we went through five completely different sets of lyrics and the final incarnation of the song was the eighth revision. It took a lot of work but we are proud of it and beyond excited to share it with you all.”

Ragnarok Streaming “Psychopathology” Title Track

The title track of Ragnarok’s forthcoming eighth studio album, “Psycohpathology,” has made its online debut and can be heard below.

Due out on March 25th via Agonia Records, the follow-up to 2012’s “Malediction” was recorded in Endarker Studio and produced by Marduk’s bassist, Devo. The cover artwork was made by Marcelo Vasco (Slayer, Machine Head, Dimmu Borgir).

It is the result of dedication, hard work, and the musical skills of our lineup, and is the next stage in the band’s development, both musically and lyrically. ‘Psychopathology’ is about to unleash total chaos upon you as it invites you to dive deeper into the dark recesses of the human mind.”
