Striker earned the win for the track “Too Late,” from latest album “Stand In The Fire” released this past February. Guitarist Tim Brown comments:

“Huge thanks to Edmonton Music community, as well as everyone that has helped us out over the years including the AFA, Edmonton Arts Council, FACTOR, and many others! We hope this award can bring some awareness to all the other great bands coming out of Edmonton these days as well.”

Striker was nominated alongside the following Edmonton bands:

Face First – Killing Me
Monarch Sky – Hell’s A Little Closer
Striker – Too Late
The Order of Chaos – Apocalypse Moon
Vanity Red – Kingdom Come

In additional news, Striker was also nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award in the “Metal/Hard Rock Artist of The Year” category alongside KEN mode (MB), Shooting Guns (SK), Third Ion (SK), and Van Halst (AB). The awards will be held in Regina, SK on October 13th.
