Drudkh Releasing New Split Album With Grift

Following a recent split with Hades Almighty, Ukrainian black metal group Drudkh today announces a new split release alongside Swedish group Grift.

Drudkh Streaming “Eastern Frontier In Flames” Singles Collection

Ukrainian black metal pioneers Drudkh are streaming their new singles collection, “Eastern Frontier in Flames,” which can be heard below courtesy of Metal Bandcamp.

Drudkh Reveals Full Details On Split EP With Winterfylleth

Last month Drudkh announced a forthcoming split EP with Winterfylleth, and now full details on the coming release have been made available.

The split EP, titled “Thousands of Moons Ago / The Gates’,” is to be released on January 17th (January 21st in North America) and features four songs. The track listing is as follows:

2. Ten, Ktery Se Vyhyba Svetlu
3. Recidivus
4. The Gates

The first three tracks were recorded by Drudkh, covering respectively Hefeystos, Unclean, and Sacrilegium. “The Gates” is a Hate Forest classic covered by Winterfylleth.

“Thousands of Moons Ago / The Gates” will be only available on vinyl and on digital. The 12” vinyl disc will be dark blue, hand-numbered and limited to 666 copies worldwide.

Drudkh’s three tracks will also appear separately on a compilation CD entitled “Eastern Frontier in Flames.”

Old Silver Key Recruits New Vocalist Andy Marshall, Working On New Album

Old Silver Key, the band consisting of four Drudkh members plus French musician Neige (Alcest, Amesoeurs) on vocals, released the debut album “Tales of Wanderings” last year. Season of Mist Records has now issued the following brief update about the band recruiting a new member and working on a follow-up album:

“We are pleased to inform that Andy Marshall (ex-Falloch) has joined Old Silver Key as second vocalist and composer. The band will start working on the new album within a few weeks.”

Further details will be announced as they are made available. In the meantime, you can check out the band’s previously posted animated video for “Burnt Letters” at this location.

Drudkh To Release New Album "Eternal Turn Of The Wheel" Next Year

Season of Mist has issued the following announcement about releasing a new album from Drudkh in 2012:

“Drudkh is back! The Ukrainian black poets’ forthcoming album is entitled ‘Eternal Turn of the Wheel’ and has been scheduled for a February 24th (28th in North America), 2012 release.

“‘Eternal Turn of the Wheel’ marks a return to the band’s roots and early sound. More news soon!”

Old Silver Key Working On New Video Clip For "Burnt Letters"

Old Silver Key, the new band consisting of four Drudkh members plus French musician Neige (ALCEST, AMESOEURS) on vocals, released the debut album “Tales of Wanderings” earlier this month in Europe and this week in North America.

To back up this ethereal collection of songs, the band entrusted another French artist to design a video clip for the song “Burnt Letters.” This artist is none other than Fursy (LES DISCRETS), the man behind the amazing video clip for Ghost Brigade’s “Clawmaster.” Here is an early still of the video:
