Video Clip For New Song “Taking Back The Fall” Issued By Iris Divine

Virginia progressive metal act Iris Divine released the new single and video clip for “Taking Back The Fall.” The song appears on the upcoming album, “The Static And The Noise,” which drops on October 6th! Pre-orders can be made at this location.

The video was filmed and edited by Chris Ratterree and Jamie Rose of Absolute Future Studios.

Kris Combs states: “‘Taking Back The Fall’ is the first official video Iris Divine has made, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the turnout. We filmed it in a warehouse that was about to be destroyed, and just knowing the fate of the place added to the overall vibe of the shoot. We wanted to showcase the live energy of Iris Divine with a performance clip, and the intensity of us jamming together. The song itself is a stellar example of what Iris is about; equal parts heavy, melodic and emotional, with a few rhythmic twists and a memorable chorus hook. We had a blast making it and hope you enjoy it!”

The track listing is:

1. Catalyst
2. Taking Back The Fall
3. Echoes/ Effigies
4. Fractures
5. The Static And The Noise
6. Like Glass
7. The Acolyte
8. We All Dissolve

Norse Debuts Pre-Release Full-Album Stream Of Upcoming New Album “The Divine Light of a New Sun”

Australia’s dissonant avantgarde black metal unit Norse debuts the pre-release full-album stream of the band’s upcoming new album “The Divine Light of a New Sun”, which will arrive in stores next Thursday, May 25 via Transcending Obscurity Records.

Check out now “The Divine Light of a New Sun” in its entirety below.

Comments bassist/vocalist ADR:

“The Divine Light of a New Sun is both a call to arms and an exploration into our dark past. It takes us through the birth of the inspirational war machines that led to the advent of the atomic age and into an era of unparalleled destructiveness and limitless potential. The album progresses from the modern age of pervasive mental weakness and lack of discipline to a new age reinforced by the remorseless pursuit of excellence at all costs. We also explore the endless horrors of terrorism among other disturbing subjects I’m certain will resonate with our listeners.”
