“This is the bravest man I will ever know! He fought so hard and instead of 3 months, he ended up with 21 of them. I will love you forever for many reasons but most of all because of the way you loved me.

Dawn Of Disease Reveals New Album “Ascension Gate”

Since 2003, Dawn Of Disease has rumbled its way to the top as heavy weights of Germany’s death metal scene. Now the band returns with brand new album “Ascension Gate,” featuring a hurricane of blast beat drumming and the gigantic voice of Tomasz Wisniewski.

“Ascension Gate” is set to be released on August 11th, 2017 through Napalm Records and will be available in CD, LP gatefold, and digital download formats. Pre-orders will be available soon.

Says the band: “‘Ascension Gate’ was created and given birth within a comparatively short lapse of time. Thus it embodies pure energy and raw intensity. In comparison to our former releases our fourth full-length album is different in many ways as it modifies and expanses the musical elements we used to employ before.

“Besides the typical Dawn of Disease trademarks you will find more elaborate melodies that carry the listener through an atmospheric journey. Inspired by gloomy autumn days and the sheer endless darkness of winter ‘Ascension Gate’ adds more depth and catchiness to our sound than ever before without neglecting a huge portion of blastbeating brutality. Regardless of this dark and melancholic leitmotif we can promise you one thing: ‘Ascension Gate’ will bring you a very hot summer!”

01. Passage
02. Perimortal
03. Leprous Thoughts
04. Beneath The Waters
05. Ascension Gate
06. Akephalos
07. Fleshless Journey
08. The Growing Emptiness
09. Lucid
10. Mundus Inversus

Mirrors Of Obsidian Unveils “From One Form” Album Artwork

Dublin, Ireland’s extreme metal act Mirrors Of Obsidian has unveiled the artwork for forthcoming debut full-length album, “From One Form,” via a brand new video clip.

The clip also features brief audio samples of the band’s debut single, “Neutral Disease,” as well as crushing upcoming single, “The Core.” Mirrors of Obsidian, which is comprised of instrumentalist, Eoin Ennis, and vocalist, Ciaran Ennis, had the following to say:

“We recently released our debut single, ‘Neutral Disease,’ and the reaction so far has been fantastic. Our second single, ‘The Core,’ is set for release on October 3rd, and while it still retains the intensity of ‘Neutral Disease,’ fans can expect a change of pace, layered vocals and some odd time signatures. We’re also extremely delighted to reveal the artwork for our forthcoming album, From One Form, which is set to see a release early in 2017. The artwork was designed by Eoin and I feel it really compliments the atmosphere of the album’s music and lyrics.”

Eoin adds: “Inspired by the lyrical concept pervading From One Form, the artwork symbolises a shift in consciousness. A celestial alignment has occurred, the eclipse has passed and a new dawn is here. Nothing has been created or destroyed, things have only changed from one form to another.”
