More Details Of New Album “Nefarious Seed Grows To Bring Forth Supremacy Of The Beast” Posted By Anima Damnata

Anima Damnata’s “Nefarious Seed Grows to Bring Forth Supremacy of the Beast” is going to be out on November 1st via Godz Ov War Productions & Malignant Voices. The album will be issued in various formats, such as CD, 12″LP, and Digital Download. The album is going to have it’s exclusive premiere during the Polish leg of the Abhorrent Desecration Tour 2017 on which Anima Damnata will be supporting Black Witchery, Possession and Nyogthaeblisz.

The band is streaming the new song “Uprising Lucifer” in the player at the bottom.

The band commented: “The ‘Nefarious Seed…’ was meant to be more intense and overwhelming than our previous releases. It is like a demon sitting on your chest, taking your breath away. Although it is more mature and less chaotic, it strikes with greater precision at the foundations of extreme metal music. This album is rather self-inspired; however, some influences of bands like Deicide, Sarcofago and Morbid Angel may be audible. The lyrical concept is mostly set upon Promethean values, the inner strength driven by the darkest visions, and the impending end of all religions. The production of the album follows the pattern set on Scott Burns’ early works, but it has been enriched with foul miasma. The ‘Nefarious Seed…’ completes our rapturous pentalogy dedicated to the Horned Lord. There is a bad moon on the rise, and the future is dark.”

The track listing for the album is:

1. The Promethean Blood
2. Praise the Fall of God
3. Uprising Lucifer
4. Through Abomination ‘Till Ecstasy (song streaming here)
5. I Hail His Name
6. Your Life Is Cursed
7. Numinous Ascension Into a Black Hole
8. His Light Shines Upon Me
9. Blend Into Satan
10. Void of the Abyss

“‘Nightbringers‘ is the album of the year.”MetalSucks.net

“‘Nightbringers‘ makes for one of the band’s best records… if not their best.”MetalInjection.net

“…’Nightbringers‘ is without a doubt the band’s best release since their 2007 breakthrough.”NoCleanSinging.com

“While the Black Dahlia Murder have always been an impressive band, ‘Nightbringers’ finds them on top of their game and performing better than ever before.”Exclaim.ca

Rather than meticulously plan things out or stick rigidly to any kind of template, when it comes to writing, The Black Dahlia Murder prefer to let things happen organically. In the hands of guitarist Brian Eschbach – who co-founded the band with front-man Trevor Strnad in 2001 – and new recruit Brandon Ellis (Arsis, ex-Cannabis Corpse), Nightbringers is rich with dynamic riffs that are at once fresh and classic The Black Dahlia Murder, resulting in a collection that shifts through many moods and effortlessly incorporates various elements of extreme metal. While Strnad explores a variety of themes and ideas with his lyrics, they are united by the album’s title, which embraces a tenet that has been central to The Black Dahlia Murder‘s output since the very beginning. “Death metal and nighttime are synonymous to me,” Strnad explains. “We are the rulers of the darkened hours that the Christian good fears. A lot of archaic ideas that are still upheld – such as marriage and monogamy – came from Christianity, whether people want to acknowledge it or not, and to me, death metal has always been bucking that. It’s ‘being-the-villain music’, because we’re the enemy of Christianity, the enemy of all that is good and traditional. Death metal is for free thinkers, it’s for showing people the path to inner strength and operating on your own will, instead of being told what to do and living in fear, and songs like the title track and ‘Kings Of The Nightworld’ are about leading a legion of awakened minds into battle.”

Debut EP “Hexing Graves” Announced By Rites Of Daath

Godz Ov War Productions has set October 13th as the international release date for the debut EP from Poland’s Rites of Daath, “Hexing Graves.” The EP is going to premiere during a gig ‘No Reason To Live’ where Rites of Daath will be support Malthusian, Outre and Taran. This release will be available as a standard jewel case CD and Digital Download.

A few words from the band about the concept: “Rites of Daath’s general aim is to create a heavy and crushing sound. It blends massive, slow parts with sudden explosions of sheer madness in the faster parts. The band’s music is deeply rooted within the death metal underground scene, and it’s faithful to the old school and raw sound. It was inspired by a variety of death/doom metal acts, such as Necros Christos, Morgoth, Grave Miasma and Asphyx, as well with Celtic Frost and Hellhammer. Dark and intense, the music is a reflection of the lyrical concept, because the music and the lyrics are an entity, and they focus around various alchemical themes, revolve around death and the cult of it. The EP itself evokes the majesty of death, but not only as a power behind everything, but also as a passage to the absolute. The production is 100% natural, without any triggers or a pumped, artificial computer-like sound.”

“Hexing Graves” was recorded in the damned summer of 2017 at Roslyn Sudio and Michal Pijocha’s Studio, with mixing and mastering at Roslyn Studio. The artwork (shown below) was created by a young Polish artist, Julia Siuda. The logo was created by Ihasan Art.

Check out premiere of the EP’s first track “Bitter Entrails Of The Earth” in the player below.
Pre-orders are up at this location.

The full track listing is as follows:

1. Hexing Graves
2. Necromantic Rites of the Underground
3. Sepulchral Phantom
4. Bitter Entrails of the Earth
5. Most Holy Death
