Harm’s Way lands on Billboard charts with new album, ‘Posthuman’

– February 21st, 2018 –

Harm’s Way recently released their new album, Posthuman, via Metal Blade Records; for their efforts, the band has now entered the Billboard charts! See below for all positions:

#10 Current Hard Music Albums
#10 Top New Artist Albums
#31 Top New Artist Albums Consumption
#38 Current Rock Albums
#89 Current Digital Albums
#120 Digital Albums
#123 Top Current Albums

To preview and purchase Posthuman, please visit: metalblade.com/harmsway

Having grown with each subsequent release, Posthuman is a devastating addition to Harm’s Way‘s catalog. “We’ve always stayed true to who we are and allowed the songwriting process to take shape organically from record to record, and as the band has progressed, our sound has become more refined with metal and industrial influences,” states drummer Chris Mills, while guitarist Bo Lueders succinctly sums up what people can expect when they first spin the record: “To a Harm’s Way fan, I would describe ‘Posthuman‘ as a blend of ‘Isolation‘(2011) and ‘Rust‘ (2015), but it’s sonically way more insane. To anyone else, I would simply say it’s full on heavy and full on aggression.”

Good Tiger announces “Salt of the East Coast” headline tour with Icarus The Owl & Megosh

– February 20th, 2018 –

Debuts at #2 on Billboard “Top New Artist Albums” with sophomore album ‘We Will All Be Gone’

Rock quintet Good Tiger is thrilled to announce that they will be hitting the road for their “Salt Of The East Coast” headline tour with Icarus The Owl and Megosh. The run kicks off on March 31st in Richmond, and includes stops in Atlanta, Baton Rouge, and Chicago. For a full list of dates or to purchase tickets, please visit: goodtiger.co

In addition, the band will be performing at the Blacklight Media Showcase in NYC’s Gramercy Theatre on March 8th, as well as touring as direct support for Protest The Hero on their Fortress 10th Anniversary Tour beginning on April 19th.

Good Tiger had their strongest opening week to date with the release of their sophomore record We Will All Be Gone, out now via Blacklight Media/Metal Blade Records. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top New Artist Albums Chart, as well as #3 on Current Hard Music Albums. We Will All Be Gone is also currently #9 on Top New Artist Albums Consumption, #15 on Current Rock Albums, #50 on Top Current Albums, #59 on Billboard Top Albums, #76 on Current Digital Albums, and #95 on Digital Albums.

We Will All Be Gone is available for purchase at metalblade.com/goodtiger. We Will All Be Gone has recently been heralded online and in print by Alternative Press, Outburn Magazine, Modern Drummer, New Noise Magazine, Cryptic Rock, and more.

Blending their influences in a manner that defies lazy classification sets Good Tiger apart from their contemporaries, imbuing everything they do with a distinctive sound and feel, and with We Will All Be Gone, Good Tiger have dramatically built upon their stunning debut, 2015′s A Head Full Of Moonlight.

Comprised of guitarists Derya “Dez” Nagle and Joaquin Ardiles, bassist Morgan Sinclair, drummer Alex Rudinger, and vocalist Elliot Coleman, Good Tiger has raised the stakes across the board – every track on We Will All Be Gone has a definitive character of its own, and none stay in a single gear, all of them dynamic and textured as they evoke various tones and moods. Tracking at Middle Farm Studios in southwest England, the band recruited producer Forrester Savell (Karnivool/Dead Letter Circus), and engineer/mixer Adam “Nolly” Getgood (Periphery/Animals As Leaders). “We worked with Nolly on the last album, we had a great working relationship, and wanted to explore that further in a more developed situation,” Dez explains. “Forrester has made some of our favorite albums, and is someone we could trust steering the ship. Having self-produced for so long it can be at times quite difficult to let go, so it was important we found people we could fully entrust to help create the album we wanted to make.”

More Details Of New Album “Nefarious Seed Grows To Bring Forth Supremacy Of The Beast” Posted By Anima Damnata

Anima Damnata’s “Nefarious Seed Grows to Bring Forth Supremacy of the Beast” is going to be out on November 1st via Godz Ov War Productions & Malignant Voices. The album will be issued in various formats, such as CD, 12″LP, and Digital Download. The album is going to have it’s exclusive premiere during the Polish leg of the Abhorrent Desecration Tour 2017 on which Anima Damnata will be supporting Black Witchery, Possession and Nyogthaeblisz.

The band is streaming the new song “Uprising Lucifer” in the player at the bottom.

The band commented: “The ‘Nefarious Seed…’ was meant to be more intense and overwhelming than our previous releases. It is like a demon sitting on your chest, taking your breath away. Although it is more mature and less chaotic, it strikes with greater precision at the foundations of extreme metal music. This album is rather self-inspired; however, some influences of bands like Deicide, Sarcofago and Morbid Angel may be audible. The lyrical concept is mostly set upon Promethean values, the inner strength driven by the darkest visions, and the impending end of all religions. The production of the album follows the pattern set on Scott Burns’ early works, but it has been enriched with foul miasma. The ‘Nefarious Seed…’ completes our rapturous pentalogy dedicated to the Horned Lord. There is a bad moon on the rise, and the future is dark.”

The track listing for the album is:

1. The Promethean Blood
2. Praise the Fall of God
3. Uprising Lucifer
4. Through Abomination ‘Till Ecstasy (song streaming here)
5. I Hail His Name
6. Your Life Is Cursed
7. Numinous Ascension Into a Black Hole
8. His Light Shines Upon Me
9. Blend Into Satan
10. Void of the Abyss

#47 (Germany)
#97 (Switzerland)

To preview and purchase the album, please visit: metalblade.com/tbdm – where an exclusive interview with front-man Trevor Strnad (written by Kim Kelly) can also be viewed. Read on for some reviews of the critically acclaimed Nightbringers:

“‘Nightbringers‘ is the album of the year.”MetalSucks.net

“‘Nightbringers‘ makes for one of the band’s best records… if not their best.”MetalInjection.net

“…’Nightbringers‘ is without a doubt the band’s best release since their 2007 breakthrough.”NoCleanSinging.com

“While the Black Dahlia Murder have always been an impressive band, ‘Nightbringers’ finds them on top of their game and performing better than ever before.”Exclaim.ca

Rather than meticulously plan things out or stick rigidly to any kind of template, when it comes to writing, The Black Dahlia Murder prefer to let things happen organically. In the hands of guitarist Brian Eschbach – who co-founded the band with front-man Trevor Strnad in 2001 – and new recruit Brandon Ellis (Arsis, ex-Cannabis Corpse), Nightbringers is rich with dynamic riffs that are at once fresh and classic The Black Dahlia Murder, resulting in a collection that shifts through many moods and effortlessly incorporates various elements of extreme metal. While Strnad explores a variety of themes and ideas with his lyrics, they are united by the album’s title, which embraces a tenet that has been central to The Black Dahlia Murder‘s output since the very beginning. “Death metal and nighttime are synonymous to me,” Strnad explains. “We are the rulers of the darkened hours that the Christian good fears. A lot of archaic ideas that are still upheld – such as marriage and monogamy – came from Christianity, whether people want to acknowledge it or not, and to me, death metal has always been bucking that. It’s ‘being-the-villain music’, because we’re the enemy of Christianity, the enemy of all that is good and traditional. Death metal is for free thinkers, it’s for showing people the path to inner strength and operating on your own will, instead of being told what to do and living in fear, and songs like the title track and ‘Kings Of The Nightworld’ are about leading a legion of awakened minds into battle.”
